QUOTE(ss1st @ Sep 21 2013, 06:08 PM) [attachmentid=3639863] That is the tool for you to replace the nip of your s pen. QUOTE(Positron @ Sep 21 2013, 06:18 PM) Cool.. how about note 2? I have been using the s pen frequently and with high usage but still no sign of wearing.. but its a good thing that samsung thought about it.. it encourages the user to use the pen more often.. Not sure about Note II as I don't own one. Its up to your choice as plastic nib give smooth writing while rubber nib will give you the feel more like real pencil and paper due to the friction |

Actually I'm not that eager to get the Note 3, still can wait awhile now. I'm more concern about the availability of different S View cover's color. So far I see most of the seller got only white or black. I'm hoping to get some other striking color.

QUOTE(herlivst @ Sep 22 2013, 06:11 PM) Hi peeps, The phone screen is being protected by Gorilla Glass 3Its been on 3rd thread so my apology if i missed it. Is this handset unequipped with any sort of tempered glass (Sapphire/corning/Dragonfly)? I checked the main posts in the first page and reviews around the web but none mention anything about the protective screen |

QUOTE(herlivst @ Sep 22 2013, 06:27 PM) wow thanks for the info Based on the past trends, Samsung always use the latest available corning gorilla glass to their flagship s and note series. I can see in recent smartphone world, manufacturer seldom boost on hardware as compare to the past. They are more focused in user experience and ui. Samsung didn't even make a big fuss on the USB 3.0.Funny how they didnt actually 'boast' that in the specification Too much concentration on the S pen marketing This post has been edited by WiLyi: Sep 22 2013, 06:44 PM |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Sep 22 2013, 06:51 PM) Maybe but for me USB 3.0 has a lot of improvement over USB 2.0. Charging speed via USB and also transfer rate since Note 3 essentially is a multimedia device plus 4k video recording. But I know all this wouldn't be a concern to the general mass consumer |

QUOTE(SIWIS @ Sep 23 2013, 08:57 AM) Does anyone know 1gadget/directd open the box seal before they sent out to customer for those purchase from lelong or deal in forum? My friend brought from 1Gadget before and the box is sealed upon reaching his hand. That time my friend said if want them to check before delivery, then only they open up the seal. Anyhow you can always tell them that you want a sealed box without opening it to be send to you. |

QUOTE(Cynox @ Sep 23 2013, 05:21 PM) btw, there will be 2 different category of RM1,888 promo - one for normal everyone (quantity unknown) and another one limited to Lowyat member (20 units) only? Actually I'm also a bit unclear on this, is the RM1,888 promo which limited to 20 units is open to everyone? Even if we can't get that, RM1,999 is also a pretty good deal and we also don't know how many units it would be limited to. |

QUOTE(destEX @ Sep 23 2013, 11:47 PM) both also can, the problem with "many devices cant slot in 64GB" is because of the file system format that 64GB uses is ExFAT, if you format back to FAt32 those devices will work. Note3 comes with exfat support What do u mean by both also can? Based on the official spec, memory expansion is only up to 64gb.. |
