I'm presuming this is the tool to take out both SIM card and microSD card (microSD slot is right above the SIM card slot)
*
That is the tool for you to replace the nip of your s pen. Sim card and micro SD are placed beneath the battery cover and don't need any tools

I am wondering why there are so many extras of the S Pen nib? Was that a problem in SGN2 ?
*
Samsung gives extra nib just in case your s pen nib is exhausted. In Note 10.1 we are given 3 plastic nib and 3 rubber nib

Cool.. how about note 2? I have been using the s pen frequently and with high usage but still no sign of wearing.. but its a good thing that samsung thought about it.. it encourages the user to use the pen more often..
*
Not sure about Note II as I don't own one. Its up to your choice as plastic nib give smooth writing while rubber nib will give you the feel more like real pencil and paper due to the friction

Actually I'm not that eager to get the Note 3, still can wait awhile now. I'm more concern about the availability of different S View cover's color. So far I see most of the seller got only white or black. I'm hoping to get some other striking color.

Hi peeps,

Its been on 3rd thread so my apology if i missed it.
Is this handset unequipped with any sort of tempered glass (Sapphire/corning/Dragonfly)?

I checked the main posts in the first page and reviews around the web but none mention anything about the protective screen
*
The phone screen is being protected by Gorilla Glass 3

wow thanks for the info
Funny how they didnt actually 'boast' that in the specification sad.gif
Too much concentration on the S pen marketing
*
Based on the past trends, Samsung always use the latest available corning gorilla glass to their flagship s and note series. I can see in recent smartphone world, manufacturer seldom boost on hardware as compare to the past. They are more focused in user experience and ui. Samsung didn't even make a big fuss on the USB 3.0.

That's cause they can't find any usage to boast about the 3.0.

Maybe but for me USB 3.0 has a lot of improvement over USB 2.0. Charging speed via USB and also transfer rate since Note 3 essentially is a multimedia device plus 4k video recording. But I know all this wouldn't be a concern to the general mass consumer

Does anyone know 1gadget/directd open the box seal before they sent out to customer for those purchase from lelong or deal in forum?
*
My friend brought from 1Gadget before and the box is sealed upon reaching his hand. That time my friend said if want them to check before delivery, then only they open up the seal. Anyhow you can always tell them that you want a sealed box without opening it to be send to you.

btw, there will be 2 different category of RM1,888 promo - one for normal everyone (quantity unknown) and another one limited to Lowyat member (20 units) only?  hmm.gif
*
Actually I'm also a bit unclear on this, is the RM1,888 promo which limited to 20 units is open to everyone? Even if we can't get that, RM1,999 is also a pretty good deal and we also don't know how many units it would be limited to.

Just go to http://deals.ebay.com.my/ on Wed morning and keep refreshing the site and you see see the promo. That was what I did for the S4 promo - the link came up in the morning but couldnt go in until after 1130am. On S4 LTE they did mentioned the link will be live at 12 noon. I bought my set 15 mins later
*
Thanks again uncle. Wondering what time it will be posted this round? It mentioned early morning hmm.gif

Can it support 128GB?
I know 64GB definitely has no issue and don't forget 128GB is going to cost a bomb.
*
Nope..maximum is 64gb. However if not mistaken based on review, the phone only allows you to record maximum of 5mins of 4k video

both also can, the problem with "many devices cant slot in 64GB" is because of the file system format that 64GB uses is ExFAT, if you format back to FAt32 those devices will work. Note3 comes with exfat support
*
What do u mean by both also can? Based on the official spec, memory expansion is only up to 64gb..
