newbie, why u getting lower fps after the patch?

r u sure the slowdown is caused by the patch?

i dont think anyone else facing the same problem as yours

there are a lot of ppl facing this problem rite now and already killed our bf2 mood including me.

so far you the only one i know facing drop in fps prob.
i thought you multimedia students got powerful pcs, your drop in fps wat?
from 70 to 50?

for me, i only had a ctd two times when i click join game.
apart from that no prob at all.

I'm facing a downfall too... .

but now.. i'm playing monopoly online...very shokk

now, most of the time is 15 fps which is the lowest compared to previous patch is 20-40 fps. the 15 fps make the game terrible, unplayable. go to server to suicide and free frag doll.

my pc spec:

- Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz HT
- Albatron NVidia GeForce 6600GT Trinity 128 MB AGP 8x
- 2 X Kingston Hynix 512 MB DDR 400 MHz with Vantec Copper Heatspreader
- Seagate Barracuda 160GB HDD + Western Digital 80GB HDD + Western Digital 40GB HDD

I got the same problem as ever.. CTD.. Nothing else

ctd until i fed up too. now back to CS:S. kkn

crap 1.3 patch...EA/Dice trick us..We want our money back...They kill BF2 to make way for 2142 i guess? Marketing strategy.

i set all lowest, thats why i cant see far.

we should do the pertition to ask EA to revert back to 1.22
1.3 really sux
my fps drop at least 10 and not stable
sumore....no squad jumping

if play big map then no vehicle
then very hard lah
bf2 map so big
not like CS or whatsoever
where CS is no need to play in squad (squad hopping)

i prefer 1.3 more.
no more squad hopping better.
damn irritating killing 2 to 3 ppl, then have to reload and see another 3 ppl spawn at same place then you die.
