Hello there,

I'm just wondering if anyone here has experience in endpoint security/antivirus ? Such as Kaspersky Endpoint For Business and Sophos Endpoint Anti-Virus? Which is the better in overall?
My client ask me for the comparison.....and honestly never come across this type of security software before...any info would be appreciated.

Kaspersky Administration Kit are easy to be managed and integrated into AD.
Products can be pushed by creating tasks and the definition updates are not big so wont congest the network.
The user GUI are simple too.

I would give it 8/10 points.


Never use Sophos b4 so no comments.

Sophos not bad. Price competitive!

i think if u buy the bundle that they wrap all together, most likely u will get more with sophos rather than kaspersky..

Sophos also good la..summore lots of additional functions.

For personal usage choose Kaspersky,

For Business usage choose Sophos Endpoint Anti-Virus.

This is the main difference as they are aiming different market segment.

Kaspersky is more user friendly to personal used computer, Sophos performed better by being more secure by limiting the user (as in business, all machines are assets, user normally does not have the administrator rights).

Kaspersky offers two different endpoint security if i'm not mistaken.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business and Kaspersky Small Office Security.
So it depends on which you prefer but both offers similar great protection.
