ermm...not much a big issue on the trading part actually (other than (maybe just maybe) will be more scam case)...players can still trade, those who wants to buy gears can still get them via 3rd party trading site or forums. Also for gems or crafting items/reagents, there will always be a trader selling those in bulk also (they buy cheap from players, collect and bulk re-sell them). Ingame Gold major function is now narrowed towards Crafting/Enchanting Gears...which tells us Crafting/Enchanting in RoS will be a huge activity, new level 70 BoA gears perhaps, what materials will they need ? from act 5 item salvage maybe...Enchanting and Transmorg already intro us two of the ingredient from act 5, Ghost Essence & Shadow Stone.



IMO...still a long way to RoS and loot 2.0, what we are seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg, skill nerfs, AH removal & more to come...so far they only release the "reducing/removing" part, the "addition/extra" part is yet to be told. We now know March 2014 is a dateline, but for what we dont know, could be after March 2014, PTR comes 1st...test few months for feed backs...then only RoS, or PTR in Dec 2013 and RoS intro in March 2014.

Too much speculations going on now, emotion runs high currently, anxious, anger, excitement, confusion....lets just hope Blizz do a good job & keep those finger crossed

if they really want to shutdown both AH to meet the objective of funs finding own loot in loot2.0/RoS, then they seriously need to think of:
1. disable the in-game trading menu to kill 3rd party and cheating.
2. enforce all the items are BoA so that hackers are unable to transfer victim's items to the other.
3. and lastly, crafting materials also can be bought from NPC just like health portion.

Actually I think Auction House is a great idea, but terribly executed.

Now i'm just worry about crafting materials. ToS, gems, etc. (Although I do pick them up from time to time)

EDIT:
I like that idea of purchasing crafting material from NPC.
Also, they already mentioned there's bigger stash and extra character slots

Good for you but from my experience with the game, i spend more time in virtual ebay than actually playing the game. No fun at all. AH is detrimental to the game as a whole. Less about looting, more on browsing AH for items.

RoS seemed to be a very good expansion so far. An offline mode or less internet dependent mode would make it a must buy.

this game not even live yet buddy, dont make too early judge. and for myself I enjoy gaming/farming and AH-ing
