I got 7.5k disc previously... 5k from proton n 2.5k from SA....
wondering if I apply with this 8k discount, 8 + 2.5 = 10.5k disc...
plus with 2.5% interest rate...

I speak directly with MBB Brach manager, he said that as for MBB, the lower loan amount, the higher interest rate...

this ramadhan promotion very attractive.... 8k rebate/discount....
but now HP interest already increased... maybe want to fight with the increasing interest rate...

yeah... that's how they make profit... borrow more or we charged you more... hahaha... I was shocked at first... I smell it's not about risk anymore... it's profit... so, I decide to reject their loan offer... I proceed with bank with more tolerate with their potential customer... and more lowest interest rate!...

I just check back with friend which is Proton-Edar Staff, he said that 2013 stock curently low... so grab it while you can... aiseh, my friend said that discount 8k but loan hard to approve... coz bank raised the interest rate...

as for me, I don't remember the mileage when receiving my SS, but in the service booklet, the PDI page is signed with PDI official stamp dated 1 day (31 March, I received my SS on 1 April) before receiving my SS.. there is also PDI ""checked/pass" sticker at rear window.

so far no problem with my SS... except the rattling front passenger speaker. sound like "speaker pecah". will ask the warranty to change that and will ask SA to check the item that highlighted in the service bulletin on my next service at CoSE.

as for me, the body look clean.. but for the black parts near the run channel... there are water spot.. how to get rid of that?

it is due to you enable the Traffic Announcement (TA) function. TA function not available at Malaysia. so just disable it..

IINM, AF, TA and REG...

AF-Auto frequency... is a method or circuit to automatically keep a resonant circuit tuned to the frequency of an incoming radio signal. It is primarily used in radio receivers to keep the receiver tuned to the frequency of the desired station, supported in Malaysia.
TA- refers to the broadcasting of a specific type of traffic report on the Radio Data System, not sure supported in Malaysia or not, since if not supported, the screen will never show the TRAFFIC word, but i bet no one or may small number of user is using it since it will interrupt your listening experience while u're driving...
REG-region setting, relate to PTY setting. but i let the setting default... not confirm what is the purpose of this function.. and only small amount of radio station support it...

its ok.. i'll show you how I solve it, maybe you can try it. since it is the purpose of the forum right? to help each other, not to bash each other....
when you enter you car, first thing to do is insert the micro sd card to the micro sd card slot... remember, not in the SD card slot. just insert the small one... then, insert the keyfob... after that press the start button once, yr car will be at ACC mode... and the HU will be initialized... wait until it is ready, try to open navigation app... the key is, insert the micro sd card before you on your car... i mean before you start/ACC/ON...the HU will check for the availability of the micro sd card when it is initializing...

the adapter that comes with it, just in case that you want to use it with card reader for the map update purpose... map use micro sd not sd card. as for the SD card slot, it same purpose as USB... you can store mp3, vid and play it using HU->Media->SD Card.

what happen when you tap the navi icon or press the navi button? the warning "no sd card" or pop up proton logo with navigation word?

back button just "minimize" the apps... still in background. as for radio/media/aux/DVD, they only change mode... maybe you can try android way to close the apps.. there are plenty of method to close apps... via apps manager->running. via double tap/press home button. but I guess the running apps won't slow down your HU processing time since its just light apps. unless you play "chaotic ages" with your HU...

yes...that annoy me too.. need to browse the mp3 again after turn off the engine and HU completely off...

Yup... if already stop routing.. then the GPS still active in the background.. still talking, you reach your speed limit (can disable), u in a area with weak GPS signal...
