I been calling mamak indian Ah Neh and they actually responded. Is it polite to address them this way? If u r an indian, will you feel insulted? Ah neh meaning what? Is it similar to ah bang?

Ah Neh means big brother. Thambi means younger brother. It's fine to call an Indian man either one.

But never use the word "ke'ling". It is very rude and disrespectful. Then don't be surprised if you get punched on the face by that person.

Anne is brother and hang word, to call someone with respect call them " ANNE VADA" or "THAMBI VADA" .

For greeting with respect if want call someone "VADA DEI " For leaving with humble respect " PODA DEi"
