Cos when you use Shell the timing already retard a lot.. So when u use Esso u cant feel the improvements.. Its like pouring ron97 for an engine tuned for ron95.. U will only feel a little difference.. For example Type-R u pour in ron95.. it will knock cos it was designed for ron97 only.. Same thing, when u use Esso and the engine is used to advance timing to a certain extend, if u pour in shell, u will feel it knocks a bit and it will retard to adjust accordingly..

Shell EO not so suitable for old tech engines.. a.k.a non Euro 3/4/5/6 compliant engine.. The tolerance between gaps too big, causing combustion blowbys to prematurely degrade the engine oil..

My current PE is using Mobil 1 0W-40 Advance Fully Sync.. Very good and definitely more better than Cusco 5W-40 in noise and engine smoothness... Me and Junhowe is testing these 2 engine oils to see which we can bring in.. Junhowe is using Pennzoil Ultra Fully Sync 0W-30.. And it is very very smooth too.. FC dropped by around 0.5L-1.2L/100km.. But that also due to slower driving and fresh ATF-XP3 oil in gearbox too.. so overall very good improvements lah.. especially low end torque and engine quietness..

Anybody interested in it ?? I can help organise bulk .. Around RM180 for 4 quartz.. All oil blended and imported from USA. Not like local Pennzoil which is blended locally by UMW.

Check tire pressure also if sluggish.. Semua also check, tire tak check..
