i think db07mufan the battery different size from stock one. if same size like ckdenion said, should be no problem. last time i wanna buy, the accessory shop the guy salah bagi model number NS60LS. should be NS60S. inb4 saga.
*
even if change bigger size also still can fit but dun go oversize la...if oversize then need to modify d battery holder and the rack already...i also using bigger size than stock...

QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Sep 23 2013, 12:39 PM)
I'm also using DIN55R atm, but it's from Botched. I recall someone here bang the battery holder to shape to fit a NS70 battery hmm.gif.
*
zengtmm using NS70..bracket modification needed...when i go and wanna buy NS70 and ask that guy modify end up he say he duno how to modify...end up buy din55r only...no need to do modification also can fit in.

accidents happen anytime anywhere at any speed...asalkan be more aware of wad is happening around on the road...u r correct, even road empty also drive fast is dangerous and difficult to control too...accidents like tyre can just burst without knowing...my fren kena before...if drive fast then condition will be worse.

lol~~dun lah say like i drive very fast. Occasionally need to let the engine and gearbox kasi practice sikit.
and the surprise is my return trip driving normally at 110 it save more petrol than usual trip! I also remembering zeng ask me to change the air filter or else I definitely can't touch 200 because at 5k rpm the car using stock air filter the air flow is not fast enuf.

Guys, my power window at driver side have very loud crack sound, the moment open & when almost completely close. Sounds like bracket or plastic crack, very loud.
The motor still running, but wonder is anything loose or bracket issue.

Any sifu have experience to share?
*
no idea bout that but i think u can go proton SC to get it checked since it is covered under warranty.shudn't be a problem claiming warranty for that...does that consistently happen? if yes, then u can show to the SC guy there and they will know wad to do.... icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for reply, bro.

Too bad is past the warranty, going to 3 years car. When within warranty the sound not that loud, ask the SC check, cos the sound not that loud, so they not even open to check, say is normal. But now getting loud. Sounds more like bracket...

Any idea how much for a bracket? Should back to Proton change or outside accessory shop will do?
*
i thought power window got lifetime warranty?d question now problem is not rectify...bracket sound is just the assumption.perhaps u can just give SC a try, at least after they rectify for u then u knw wad is d problem, ask them whether still can claim or not. if cant, then u can change at workshop since u already know wad's d problem.

of course if proton charge u a reasonable price to get it fix, y not just fix at proton on the spot?

I thought the Power Window lifetime warranty is start from don't know which batch or year car. No idea my car included or not?

Another question is, I used to service my car at home town (of course is Proton SC), but I work at KL, can I claim at any Proton SC at KL, or should I back to my normal service SC?
YES u can since u serviced at proton authorised SCs...just bring ur service booklet along...there are records in there so no worries

I just replace my gen2's rear right power window last sunday. the window fell down when i tried to close it. it was the plastic roller broken. spent rm38 to buy the part and replace myself.

but sadly after reinstall the door panel, now it doesn't fit-in tightly although no broken clip. i understand the part is super cheap so i shouldn't complain when it fail. but somehow i rather it's expensive and long lasting. you know lar, opening those dashboard/door panel a few time will become loose and those tikus sound will come out...
*
is the DIY steps simple?

no wonder now got many tikuss live inside my door panels... vmad.gif
