So yea, whoever first-timer into dungeons, you can view all cutscenes through Unending Journey.
As to whether a first-timer should skip, or if everyone else should wait, that is a debate I wish not to participate.

You can actually view back all cut scenes.

They are mixed , the start and end is from your Main Story Quest list.
The in between scenes , are located under Duty/Dungeon category, select Praetorium, then you can view back everything. Just don't have your 8 party members, only you alone will be in the scene.

If you really want you can just run the dungeon again and all the cut scenes will play again. Just that it's is not as special anymore since it is not your "first time".

My personal opinion is if you are doing it the first time, who cares? I want to enjoy my story, I will view it all for the first time, only skip if its my second time onwards. And I also respect if people are viewing it for the first time, let them enjoy the epic story and cut scenes.

Depends which server u play at. If western those running multiple times will keep calling you to skip scene and faster bla bla bla..
In Japan server, they will wait and respect you. No rushing from them.
See the difference?

when in party, i will wait until the rest of the party finished watching the cutscene, I can check my skills/inventory while they're doing so, no harm in waiting

Agree. I am playing in Masamune. I finished all dungeons from beginning till the end of story line, plus all the side quest dungeons.
I always tick J E F D for all dungeons, I had very pleasant experience and fast dungeon clearing time with J.
The J ones always rain you with welcoming emotes, claps for you when you get loot, play properly, wait for your buff before jump into boss, won't ask you to skip cutscene, and bow when dungeon finishes.
I learned some good attitudes from them.

As the the E ones...
Thus far, they are not too bad...but not very good either.
Sometimes they greet, not always.
If something bad happens, there bound to be one or two who curse with dirty words...
And I don't know why, the E tanks seem to think "Oh there's a healer, I can just stand at one point taking all super skills from boss, and if I die it's the healer problem." Luckily majority of the tanks I healed are J tanks, so I saved a lot of MP for those more dangerous situation.

From all my journey since beginning until now, total jerks met through Duty Finder = 3, all labeled E. Call me stereotype, I don't mind.

My opinion is this : I give zero fak to anyone who asks me to skip the cut scene. Western or whatever color you are. I will skip if it's my second time. But if it's my first I'll definitely watch it.

Geez, seriously. If you don't want to wait, go find your own party. Don't bother queuing and end up ruining my game experience.

I only play NA server for now, and so far my experience was ok. Not bad not good. Most of the time I'm the one who greets everyone. I don't think that they are not friendly, it's just that they take more time to open up I guess. Maybe a couple of toxic players but it was ok because he disconnected and we simply got replenished. Also another toxic tank which leaves but we still finish the dungeon. Usually I encounter bad players when it is after school time in the US. So... make your own deduction there.

had this exact experience last night, went to castrum, the first time it was all english, keep on telling me rush rush rush, follow tank dont do your own things idiot, then once wiped, everyone leave.

2nd time, all japan, everytime after i watched a cutscene, 2-3 people will wait there for me and lead me to the next area, managed to enjoy the dungeon in full.

there is 1 time ...1 guy got mad at me for not skipping scenes (totorak) ...which also happen in japan server
altho we actually finished the dungeon just fine the 2nd time (1st time they totally left me and go kill the boss with 3 people)

No, I'm tank, always watch cutscene even if i do it a lot of times before. If u dont like I can always leave group and find a new one.

Although once I left a group, queue and got back the same group. Then I straight up AFK and wait for ppl to leave instead.

I usually skip all cs. Unless it is some sort of nude scene. But I will never ask my team members to skip cs. This is very rude.

Praetorium, during Lahabrea fight, other players were rush to kill him while I was viewing cutscene. By the time the scene is over, he's already defeated >.<

So I skipped the ending scenes and replayed the dungeon run one more time

I think most of us have been in this situation before. I myself, sat through Praetorium watching cutscene after cutscene because the group I was with just would run through every boss while I was still sitting on a cutscene. The group I was with was mostly JP, so didnt really get any flak for it. Well even if they did I wouldnt give two hoots. I wont let anyone spoil the storyline experience for me

But, I used to see it on a daily basis with english speaking players , someone would be in the middle of a cutscene in say Praetorium or Castrum Meridianum and the rest of the group would wail on the person to hurry up. Sad little lot really.

If you happen to be one of them, understand that some people are in the dungeon for the first time and are trying to enjoy the story. You have NO RIGHT to spoil it for them. Last thing we need in this game are elitist jerks. This isn't World of Warcraft or League of Legends, we are better than that.

my 1st time, at NA server, Prae, im dont know about "skip Cutscene" trend and at that time, only at prae u can farm more tomes.

so enter df, everyone start run, and kill the mobs, bypass certain mobs,
it 2nd time for 1st player in 8 man dungeon, so i am a bit nervous, i just follow everyone, until the 1st bos, fight like always, then 2nd bos, i watched cutscene, when finished, everyone inside already killing bos, i just stand there like idiot, finished that bos, the use "return" so that they dont agro the mobs near bos and hit the cannon, i dont know, walk thru there,all mobs on me and hit 1-2 cannon, they rage..but keep playing, im furios so im just keep silence, hate to make all fuss

and last bos also, no one tell the mechanic..
really such a horrible end game exp
i really hope all the speed f*@#& run idiot(not wpsr, that diff thing, coz prae is main progress) stop playing this game.

Don't know why they still running Prae for tomes, AK and WP can be done much faster and you don't have to deal with so many other players.

Last time my friend suggested that we Q Prae for tomes, I told them nah don't do that, we Q we will speed run it and ruin new player experience. So until now we seldom run CM or Prae unless we are in full party of 8.

well, those day when in a launching month, not many vids about boss fight,
and I, new in MMMO, 1st time play with others, usually play single player games, i want to experience everything firsthand before guide
it was wrong move apparently

well i think that is the challenge and some people find it fun attempting the boss while not knowing anything and u get to learn their skills while u progress each phase.

I think it's a trade off that we simply have to accept. Most of the people doing CM/Prae, all those story 8-mans have done it dozens of times before. They're in it only for the tomestones and couldn't give a crap about us newer players. But without SqEx setting up the tomestone system, we would need to queue for days or be lucky enough to know 5-7 friends/FC-mates, etc who would be willing to help.
