QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Sep 22 2013, 01:14 PM) I think it's really dim to discontinue FLX exec.Should've discontinued Persona and introduce a Preve SV instead Maybe they have a surplus of 4ATs and old S4PH IAFM they need to get rid off |

QUOTE(ruby1288 @ Sep 22 2013, 02:36 PM) go complain Y kenot, changes in production lines happen all the time. See how the V-bar and 3-point rear center seatbelt is now standard across the whole FLX range when previously we don't get that?ayam wonder is it even legal to sell same model but different batch with different ingredients ? Older Proton models like Waja even got a different engine in the middle of it's lifecycle. As long as Proton did not commit to specific gear ratios and gearbox brand in marketing materials, it's hard to say Proton misrepresented their product to the consumers. QUOTE(adriangan @ Sep 22 2013, 11:07 PM) Sianzz.. though get early is the same, we kena thrown e old stocks... Well if it's any consolation, the red meter cluster in my old Waja is still my favourite meter cluster especially at nite, for the same reason you stated, less glare. I just now pass by SV, white backlight meter so bright...but mine got one thing better, orange colour no so glare at night...x.x(self convinced) I check mine, and taken photo(but dunnoe why cannot upload hsing mobile) anyway is MFA30 etc...cfm not getrag...9k gear box quoted from david? (Another point to be happy about instead of being their clear stocks customers?) During WW2, the fighter propeller planes use gauges lit in red light to reduce glare during night missions This post has been edited by dares: Sep 22 2013, 11:17 PM |

Drive slowly, slower than 20km/h, gently on the throttle. Then release the throttle -> press throttle again -> release throttle again etc... With the right timing you will experience the same kind of jerk on a manual car when you are on first gear and doing the same throttle action. The jerk is due to the CVT staying at low gear during stop-go traffic and reluctance to upshift unless you have accelerated pass a certain speed. |

QUOTE(r3apers @ Sep 23 2013, 05:46 PM) is the new kia picanto worth it? 1.25 kappa engine, 6 A/B, ABS, ESP, Keyless entry, All-round Disc brakes... price estimate around 64k for auto... As for those features....The new Fiesta came with 2 airbags as opposed to the previous 7 airbags because according to Ford, their market research concluded that Malaysians don't care about 7 airbags. That should tell you how much those things mean to Malaysians. IMHO it won't do very well here. QUOTE(ckdenion @ Sep 23 2013, 05:51 PM) Mirage is a B-segment. |

QUOTE(alf233 @ Sep 23 2013, 07:24 PM) Just want to ask for advice, I took over a 2010 saga blm. What BS is this, if your car was consistently serviced at any Proton branch or authorized SCs, they must honor the warranty even if you have never serviced your car with them.Current issues with cars: 1. Noticeable iafm sound. 2. Squeeky sound from front right area. Likely to be suspension Warranty expiring in 1 month. I went to ask the sc that I regularly go for servicing, they said iafm ok, and need few days to identify the squeeky sound. Not satisfied with the response, I went to another sc, which has good reviews from internet/forum. The sc boss confirmed iafm & suspension and said can be replaced under warranty. However refused to do the warranty for me because I never sent car to them. He suggested me to go to coe in shah alam straight. I just want to ask is it worth to go to coe? Will they change iafm and suspension under warranty? Because I dont to waste my leave if they cant do it Thanks a lot in advance I suggest that you call up WeCare and COE to enquire further before you go, namely, if those items can be replaced under warranty and how long it will take, as well as making an appointment before going. If you are entitled to a warranty claim, I also suggest that you file a complain against that SC with WeCare. |

Just release the key back to "ON", then crank again.Ignore the keyhole rim light, Saga does not come with it so don't ask why your car don't have that light This post has been edited by dares: Sep 23 2013, 09:49 PM |

If given enough time like Ms.Ruby, adjust butt sensitivity and right foot action, he adapted to the CBT character liao hoh, very hard for him to create the jerk anymore. Yea, this CVT characteristic can't be tamed totally. If it stopped jerking, that's because the CVT trained you, not the other way around |

QUOTE(gekmui @ Sep 23 2013, 11:32 PM) Hi everyone! I bought my proton saga flx 1.3 exe (auto) in april this year. Recently i sent my car for service at proton service centre due to the "tak tak" sound when i press brake while on road. This problem have been started few weeks after i bought my car. The mechanic said car brake drum need to be exchange. After exchanged, the problem occur again after few rides.. Get it replaced again. Replace until it stops. That's the only way.Or go find a BLM drumbrake and replace with it. |
