Very cheap less than MYR10 if can get more maybe even cheaper. The place I went they all have factories supplying and consider distributors so price are very gooding.


The saga I bought is for me and my wife use previously she was driving my Grandis around and for me I was using the 206 and changes to use other cars. Then seeing the newspaper and friends around me got snatch and rob including my parent I find that it would be a wise move to get something ordinary and not so obvious would grab too much attention for us to drive daily. Before I paid for the saga I went through a lot of cars including those you mentioned. Wira with 4G93 turbo, Mivec engine, Waja converted 4G63 but they are all used car and to buy a modded car is quite a challenge if you know the owner then its ok to buy since you will know the car well but from a used car dealer is not. I did try to find the previous owners for those turbo wiras and wajas but fail so I drop that. It was then when I pass by a Proron showroom and I look into it and saw the FLX there. It was quite nice at a certain angle so it caught me then I went in with my wife and since she's also using the car getting a new unit is more safe for her although I know she can handle big horsepower car but I don't want her to get stranded by the roadside due to some problems that arises from a used car. (My 206 is a good example, I bought the car as a 2nd hand unit and 1st couple of months it was a lot of problems for me, the car keep breaking down and this and that until I finally fix it but now the gearbox sometimes give intermittent problem so I won't want my wife to drive it.)

Another reason I wanted to get the Saga over the Myvi because the saga had a more capable engine although being 1.3 only. When I was standing in the showroom looking at the engine bay. I a lot of ideas was going through my head and the modding plan started even before I got the car.

After owning the saga for more than a year now, I find that it's actually a very good car not like most who bash how bad it is, yes the QC and interior looks dull but overall I'm happy with it.

Neo was in my list before the saga but wife said she don't like 2 doors. If I wanted hot hatch I would just drop an order on a Megane 250R cup

I've run naked before without a front bumper when my dad hit a dog accidentally at night as I needed to use the car and so I took it out and send the bumper for repair.


I stay in seremban. I till take 1 day to complete the job and not raining because need to mask the bumper for painting also. ( the grill area)

so ngam talk about exhaust I just wanted to share my experience on running my aftermarket Gen2 high flow muffler for the pass months


I've been running this Gen2 muffler for few months already (actually forgotten how long) It's a S-Flow unit for Gen2 but it fit my gaga as well just need to make some welding changes on the inlet and the mounting points.

This muffler when newly fitted is very quiet and gives a subtle sound good for those looking for something less attention grabbing and potential problems from authority. Muffler construction quality is quite good. After all the glass fiber burn in the sound decibel only increase by less than 10% (assuming) and still have an acceptable sound level.

Currently after being using it the idling sound is a bit louder than new but it's gives a nice deep growling sound at idle and a deep solid punchy sound when the throttle is apply while driving. Even at WOT the sounds is still solid and not noisy at all. Performance wise, I feel the car is pulling stronger through out the usable power band. David drove the car when I fitted this muffler and he fell in love with it. Price wise it's not expensive so I recommend this muffler to gaga owners who is looking to change their muffler but still up to personal preferences.

After you remove the chrome grill the bumper colour is accordingly sprayed to the car body colour so if it's white then the inner grill part also white and got a center supper (plastic need to saw off one) so need to paint it if not will see the saw mark.

For white halogen bulb. I got 1 time got stop by police at road block but no fine la just told me my bulb so white cannot. I was using Raybrig 5000K H4 bulb that time quite long ago when HID was still not as common as today but if read up on JPJ website there got state white bulb is legal to use.

Previously I also wrote to the media (newspaper) to question the JPJ when that time they catch HID very frequent. It was also long time ago. I throw them the question of what is legal and what is not legal and to label HID as illegal why they are allow to be sold and glaring problem is due to poor installation and if the installation is good why it's not allowed? etc...things like that

Your muffler tip small??? you don't SKL..I saw before very big one leh.....

If want brighter lights you need to bump up the supply power to the bulb but that will shorten it's lifespan or you need to look at the filament of the bulb and the gas mix inside the bulb itself. I know Raybrig halogen bulbs are much brighter given the same power supply compare to stock bulbs even better than PIAA's

No it's halogen bulb in projector casing. Just like the Alza and the older Waja. HID projector design and halogen projector is different outside looks the same only. The colour flicker you see when the car moves is due to light reflection off the lens that give you different colour at different viewing angle.

HID projector uses clear lens compare to halogen projector. Light cut off would looks the same but when you put HID bulb into a halogen projector the cut off will be all wrong (still less glaring than a reflector type casing but still not the correct way to do it.) The length of HID bulb and halogen bulb is different also so you want to have good light throw and cut off you need to pair HID bulb with HID projector. Good example is using morimoto's projector and HID kit.

actually in today's engineering technology bigger CC is not really the only way to go. I believe the saga 1.3 is good enough for me I will just swap parts and make it into a 1.6 enough already...no need to go until 2L.....

FOr me I like to keep the car at a certain RPM say 3K then just give throttle a bit more than usual or stomp on it more to see if the car will rocket forward.....I like the pull it generates....I do this once a while on my way to work using the NS highway.

BTW, I want to ask where's the rear tow hook for your gaga. DOes it came with the car because I saw our rear bumper towing is with a screw in type tow hook but I can't find it inside my car...
