I bought my 2nd hand Note2 this way.
1) Get IMEI no from seller
2) Call CS to confirm SME set
3) Once confirm, during COD double check the IMEI is correct
for new phones, i assume can do similar things but never tried

But I tried calling CS, they say they cannot check. Must sms the imei number in...I'm using DG so sms to 62002. But I cannot confirm since the reply is imei not yet registered. How to find out if it is AP?

Very expensive

One way is to go into download mode.. even if it is sme or ap, u can at least see if it is rooted or not.

My note 2 and S4 charger are the same leh. Only S3 not the same, lower output.

Is there any way to clone everything to another S4 without root?

what i mean is to transfer my current settings and game data from S4 white to S4 black, same spec but different unit.

how come phone companies like samseng don't invest and make great backup. migrate and transfer apps like titanium backup or alike. I don't know which is the best out there, but surely lots of ppl talk, discuss and use TB.

I tried Kies, but it can only migrate half of my personal data, but cannot restore back settings, apps, apps settings etc... like TB. I guess no app can perform like TB without root?

Looking for a app recommendation:
I need an app to share work with colleagues while I am not around. Much like google doc but instead it is in the form of a widget, so that it gets updated when someone writes something on it.

We are divided into several teams to survey on several things, and we need to update each other as well as our bosses, and the updates allows us to negotiate and decide better, so google doc does not serve the purpose because it is not instant, we need to check check check.. we need something more instant like sms, but sms hard to edit and cannot be in a long list due to limited characters.

So i could be colleague A, and after time, I could be updating my Item 1 / Zone A constantly. It could start at 15.00, later 14.80, 14.75, etc... we all need to update and compare, and there could be more than 10,20 items, and a few zones.. so chat room would not work, as there is too many copy paste each time we want to update. And when I update mine, I cannot compare to colleague B & C, as they are updating too. So i need to gather the data on a platform and we update our own portion.

I tried to flash 3 minit framework but something went wrong. I have lost my status bar and wallpaper. I have lost my setting too, cos the original gear icon now changed to a green android icon and when i click it, it says app isn't installed. I also cannot find the stock framework to flash back. What should I do now?

How come S4 roms (Omega and Arrow) both ask users to flash to specific modem first then only flash the rom? I remember there was no such need on S3 and Note 2. After flashing to their modem, do we need to flash back to our local modem?

Previously, i think it was andrew who recommended me ARHD. It was a very good stable rom. Much better than Omega. Unfortunately, not available on S4 i9500. Anyone can recommend something as good as ARHD?

I have some buggy experience with Omega 14. So i kept a nadroid copy of that, and now switch to arrow. Not really into aosp or any in particular. Just want to have something that would allow me to do some customization like changing the battery icon, toogles, ... the rest can use Nova or Apex to customized. And once I get a good stable rom, I hardly change or play around with anything else.

I often stick to TW based cos I like the swipe left swipe right to sms or call feature.

GT-I9500 is using cortex A15 and A7, right? The options for download is A15 and A9 with NEON, or A8 with NEON... so which should I download?
