QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 23 2013, 10:03 PM) Try take a look at the link below for the prerooted ROM. Yeah. I'm pondering whether to flash Germany's FW or wait til Malaysian's FW come out.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250824 If you wanna try official full stock firmware... Only Germany available at the moment. You can flash that firmware (get from Sammobile) without tripping your Knox warranty flag. If i'm not mistaken, the FW will be more updated than Germany's right? |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 23 2013, 10:16 PM) Which firmware more updated....M'sia one..? Alright. One more thing, if i flash Germany's, will i still be able to get OTA Malaysian's update?Doesn't matter...you can flash upgrade or downgrade your firmware as long as it's between official stock with Knox bootloader. Do not try to downgrade to the older non-Knox bootloader firmware as it will surely triggered your Knox to 0x1 if you do so. |

Guys, i always change the 3 animation scale from 1.0x to 0.5x in developers mode, when i got a new Android phone.
But with this update, it seems that everytime i open camera app or restart my phone, the "transition animation scale" resets back to 1.0x. Anyone having this problem? |

QUOTE(mudkipryan94 @ Nov 3 2013, 05:45 PM) Yeap... ! i nvr fear about knox already and u should take a look from N3 thread that our tiptop unker benny dare to root it as well Dunno man. With my previous S3, i went to SC once, just because of that motherboard dead. That's all. Never dropped. I guess i dont need the warranty much.[4.3 firmware, n saw it at N3 thread n mentioned that knox just a software.. and IS RESET-able.. Yeah. I saw somewhere in XDA mentioned that KNOX can be reset. But it's just a theory. Too early to tell. |

Seems that i can root normally using CF-Autoroot. Just that the KNOX will be triggered.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470635 <- wah, this post quite useful for LTE user.. is time to read it up! |

QUOTE(mudkipryan94 @ Nov 4 2013, 08:38 AM) No more Samsung phones for me! I think S4 will be my last Samsung phone. All because of KNOX. Maybe i'll jump ship to HTC or Nexus, when i decided to switch phones (which is hopefully in 2-3 years time). QUOTE(inferno75 @ Nov 4 2013, 01:12 PM) regarding the lagging of 4.3 update, i managed to factory reset my phone and now it is working flawlessly. I got that prob too, but no need to reinstall Waze. U just clear data in app centre. U can't restore Waze data, it will mess up the app.i backup using kies and helium. kies mainly for contact but unable to restore apps and their data. Helium is awesome and managed to restore all my apps and saved games. Only downside was after restoring Waze, it caused waze to crash. Had to delete and reinstall again. But thats just minor issue. thanks to everyone for their advice. btw my phone is not rooted. |

QUOTE(ahodil @ Nov 4 2013, 05:31 PM) If i were you, ill avoid HTC as much as i can. Not being a fanboy, but i have a bad experience with their HTC One S. Im scared with their quality and SC here I've read stories about HTC, One to be exact. Mostly about the lense problem. But i dunno. Let's see their next phone.Even Google now is taking serious about modding and stuffs. Just look at KK4.4 . its already has Enforcing SELinux by defaults :sweats: , unless you dont mind stock, thenyou are good to go I wanna be able to root, yet that can send to SC without hassle. I wanna root just so that i can use titanium backup. |
