QUOTE "Yes, always give me a strong pass because I want to challenge myself by controlling a difficult ball. You have to keep pushing and testing each other. Like you test your pace and strength against Sol Campbell. He's your team‑mate but in training you're against him. If you can beat Sol, who can't you beat in the Premier League? And if he can stop me or he can stop Thierry Henry, who can't he stop in the Premier League? That's the challenge: always trying to improve yourself. But it can only work when everyone is giving 100%. Like having goalies who try in training. that part is very inspiring. these guys set out to be winners, not just players who try their best. fantastic read. i might consider buying the book if i spot itAt Inter they didn't try and it was so frustrating. But Jens Lehmann? David Seaman? Fantastic! Jens couldn't stand to have a single shot go past him. And if I tried to lob David Seaman … woaah! If it worked, it was a fantastic goal and he was like: "Great, well done." But if it didn't work out, he got hold of the ball and smashed it two hundred yards away! He'd just kick it away and say "Get that!" and I'd have to go and get it. David is a nice soft guy – but not when he plays. That was his drive: "You're not going to fool me! Now get that ball!" I loved that attitude." |

bendtner has experience playing on the right wing before, i guess it's wenger's way of forcing players to learn and adapt just like how he played ramsey there. i remember when bendtner played right wing he was very eager to beat players and put in nice crosses. but that was when he's fully fit tho, i doubt he can do that in his current fitness.
didnt watch the game, but i heard ryo had a poor game, and gnabry was active but unfortunately had no end product? |

i just realized gnabry and ryo will be jaded from the match to play the league game this weekend. first option is to play ramsey on RW and put arteta into CM. if arteta's tired, flam/jack/ozil in mid and nacho on LW. or we might play jenks on RW. damn

iuno, apparently mesut ozil tips gnabry and eisfeld for great careers, and wenger labeled eisfeld as the next pires. i'm sure they'll feature more in the next coming years, and i'm especially glad mesut has settled in quite brilliantly in the team.
