I hardly use a VGA output anymore, as the newer projectors use HDMI. I have enquired and there are mHDMI to VGA (DSub15) adaptors available, albeit not cheap, about 90-100 if you can find stock. mHDMI to HDMI adapters are much cheaper and easier to find.
You're welcome.
The shop in USJ 19 Mall is Aoneplus. On the ground floor. Paid 1399 full retail, but got other things unrelated thrown in for free or discounted.
The T100's keyboard is marginal in terms of use. I'm still having problems with the right shift key. But given the price these things are retailing for you can't really complain. 1399 isn't much money nowadays. It is incidentally the same price as Asus' original 7" EeePC that I purchased when it launched.
As for available HDD space, I'm having 13.3GB remaining after installing most of my light duty software. Its sufficient for now but realistically, this is for mobile work so 32Gb + 32GB mSD may very well be enough, if this is not your only device. Considering my original EeePC had only 8GB, and we made do with that. As with my EeePC, You can tweak with Windows' recovery and download repository and save 1GB or so.
After using it a few days, to sum it up,
This is a Netbook that can be used as a tablet. It is priced like a netbook, feels like one in terms of build and finish quality, weighs like one and looks like one with the keyboard base attached.
Its great for a mobile professional that needs a more portable solution to a laptop. The Atom 3740 is finally powerful enough to do some more serious work.
If you buy this thinking it is a tablet first, I think you may be a bit disappointed, primarily because of the OS.
The reason I bought this is because it can run x86 natively. Nothing at this sort of price range can do it, and have MS Office bundled together. But would have very much preferred a 64gb model without the keyboard dock, since my Bluetooth keyboards are much better.
On a side note, while 10" is fine with Metro, its a bit small in desktop mode. Perhaps I can upgrade to a 13" model with the Atom 3770 in the near future

thnx for the answer & nice review. in my office work environment, i travel quite frequently & do presentations. majority are still using VGA projectors. can't control that. if it is confirmed that an adapter can be bought for this, i plan to ditch my heavy office notebook on my travel. and like u, i'm also looking for 64GB. don't even need the 500GB HDD.
