Hi Guys,

Help me decide, will it be unbiased opinion in T100 thread? biggrin.gif

After review for several weeks, I have come down to 2 options. One is a laptop replacement Surface Pro 3 and the other one is Asus T100 a lightweight Atom processor.

Description:
-I knew I wanted a laptop for business lightweight usage but at the same time I really can't stand a slow respond system, that's the reason SP3 comes in.
-I already have a gaming laptop so, althought if I purchase SP3, I will not play game on it, because the performance is not on-par. However, recent 2 years, I have no longer playing high graphic games (maybe I'm getting older rolleyes.gif )
-I will bring this laptop around everyday in my bag, the reason I bought this laptop because it's super heavy to move around with my big screen laptop everyday in my bag.
-When in office, I will have power socket, so battery life is not the biggest concern to me as long as it can last for about 3 hours for presentation/out of office.
-I plan to use this "tablet" to watch movie at night occasionally
-I need a system responsive enough not to lag when opening power point, microsoft excel, google chrome, simple extraction. I dislike lagging, my previous experience with HP-mini 110(streamyx free netbook) gave me a nightmare to "atom" processor.

Anyone can make a decision for me?

From what u want to do, t100 should suffice. MS office work fine on it. This is not the same poor performance atom that appeared in the past.

like the above user has said, atom nowadays are really capable. should be no horrible lagging will happen and it is also to keep updating windows which would really make it really stable

Hi need some help...

i have buy asus transformer t100a last week

My laptop touchscreen won't work. I have check all regarding the driver and all but still won't work. After that i do factory reset still won't work.

Any suggestion on this matter as sending it to the service center would be the last thing i would do due to their bad reputation.

Guys, t200 come out edy, spec wise almost the same with the refresfed model of t100, but-

-larger screen at 11.6"
-revised micro usb plugs( more distance to each other, not so cramp like b4
- extra usb port on the dock and 1 extra lan port
-larger battery life, to compensate the larger screen, soo battery life is same for both.
- larger size keyboard, more responsive track pad.
-matt cover instead of plastic, more fingerprint resistance
-the dock hdd drive is easily remove by one screw, easily replace to a larger size hdd.
-It has dual camera! 5mp camera behind the tablet, and 2mp at front.
- it has dedicated charging pin, means no need to use the micro usb port to charge, and also takes faster to full charge than the T100, source said it can full charge in under 3 hours.

Its basically better version than t100 except the increased weight. And only rm100 extra than new t100, but it doesnt comes with microsost office.

I think I'm sold, luckily my previous order of t100 broke n refunded lol

Good deal and all but it does not ship to Malaysia. If not mistaken, there is no HDD included with that refurbished T100.
