QUOTE(gogo2 @ Sep 17 2013, 01:54 PM) XDA discussion talk about working band. Probably need to check this on your phone:- lol, i post it, so far, i think the lte band still lock, still need to find way to unlock it, from software info, the S1 boot version and ETS software version remain intact after flash, need find way to flash it too, maybe then lte enable? lol, i also don't know Probably need to flash LTE ROM and make sure working band include LTE and voila, you got yourself a LTE enable Ultra Z. Woo hoo... [attachmentid=3633277] |

Ok, this is my finding after done the read
1)TA (Trim Area) is config file for S1 Loader and Baseband (Radio) To modify this we first need to disable security check in bootloader. 2) TA (maybe) comes with phone or it generates itself on first boot, Also TA files is signed by IMEI.So to flash other TA we need to modify IMEI first. 3)Just to say this cant brick phone just disable radio FOREVER! So can lte can be enable? Maybe, but the risk too high, lol. Better stay with 3g since a wider coverage + better saver+quite fast too, i can live with that. |
