C6802 is HSPA+ model. Are you on the owners list on the first page? If no, give me your device colour so that I add you to the owners list. Warranty can only be registered in the shop you purchased your phone through the official stamp of the dealer on the warranty card.

Bring the Warranty Card and Phone to a Sony and ask them to Register for you. I'm not very sure whether it can be done but I'm sure a Sony Authorised Retailer wouldn't mind registering the devices' warranty for you if you say it's a gift and have no receipt to accompany the phone. I have also never experienced it ever before. Not even once. Weird. So still unsure whether 532 has fixed SOD and Fake Hang issues.
