I'm considering about this now> Thinking about 64bit smartphone.. I guess that will happen next year.. Considering that, I think I might hold on with my XZU and wait for next incoming smartphones.. Now I think im 60% probably will skip Note 3,unless if it's irresistibly super duper awesome. Haha.. But I don't think so. I think even if it is superior than XZU, maybe primarily due to the S-PEN only. But xzu still win in terms of display and waterproof.. So I guess it's almost a tie.. Remembering last time when I'm still using Note 2, I di not rely on the pen that too much.. So when I use iPhone 5 and HTC One, I still can live without a stylus.. So having said that, if the weightage to buy a Note 3 is due to S-PEN only, I would definitely skip.. Anyhow, I must try Note 3 myself.. As for 64bit smartphone which is coming later, it is a MUST upgrade. By that time, I think all smartphone we have now might be going obsolete. That is bad, really2 bad. Thus I guess it's better preparing for 64bit smartphones. Save the moneh!

I wanted to use XZU as my 'jogging' phone previously, but it's quite hard due to the large size. Doesn't fit well in my jogging pants. So I might go for Z1 later on when price drop and use that as 'jogging' phone. But I will surely miss XZU large display later on after selling it, reading e-books and surfing websites is SO NICE on XZU. I don't even need to zoom in to properly read text.

The reason for me to go Note III is because I have ALWAYS been a fan of Note II except for it's poor-PPI screen. But this problem is solved with Full HD display of Note III - making it the ultimate phone, and S-Pen I did use quite a lot on my Note II as the pressure-sensor is JUST AWESOME for handwriting, feels like using a fountain pen - bliss!

Yes, if S pen is very useful for u, buying Note 3 is the best decision. Especially for those who like to sketch, some of them can really draw well on Note, I was impressed. imagine if Note 3 screen as large as XZU

I give u idea. U keep xzu and buy Note 3. When 64bit Hp come not, u sell both then u probably got enough money to buy a new phone.

Technology improvement is always there. Buy a Note3 n it will be out of date in 6 months. Chasing newer n better specs phone will never end.
I admired you guys who are only students pursuing such a hobby. Is not cheap. I only engage in such about 3-4 years before my retirement as before that need to save money for all my children education.

I foresee the flagship available now are the one which will survive shortest distance.. Because they come just before 64bit smartphone. Just several days of proud when they say Note 3 is the first smartphone with 3gb ram, then now IPhone say hey I got 64bit capable processor.

This is my favorite device among all device I've used. Exactly what I love the most is the big screen display as I read quite a lot.And the big screen perfect when iI use this as personal organizer such as using the calendar, to do list and reminder.. I got multiple reminder notes on the home screen thanks to the spacious home screen. And my calendar widget is so big I can quickly take a glance on my schedule and appointments. How can u make conclusion based on thatisazam comment only. Different people different needs
