Every device has its weakness, even Andrew said Tablet Z is good and no complain, but when it is introduce, it uses the old S4 pro SOC. Problem doesn't stop people from owning a phone, as long as it is tolerable. Say one phone without problem and i will show you tons of complain and weakness of that phone.

Despite all the reported issues, it still does not alter my decision to get the XZU LTE the moment it's launched in Malaysia.

Maybe im so tired of samsung phone, design and interface. Proud user of S2, flashes tons of roms, satisfy so far. Recently found out "Greenify" which is a great apps to restore the smoothness of the phone. I've change the battery to Sun Global 1800 mAh, but it still couldn't last for whole day which previously possible. Start thinking of other phone. Im wondering if the component starts to age, (no wakelock) only this morning until now, 60% left, only whatsapp...And then Z introduced and i bought my father an XPeria SP. Starting to like Sony, thats why lurking around Xperia thread. Hehe. ZU is just beautiful, impress by the screen the most. UK, TW and CN getting Z1, hope to get hands on soon to decide. Anyway, Mi3 is like mission impossible 3, overall strong package, awesome.

I saw this apps is top 10 in some website. But I realise it asked a lot of permission. Is it safe?

Let me explain how this app works, is actually like using Ti Backup to freeeze the app from running or keep on restart (apps), especially those bloatware and some games keep on notify which will causing wakelock or consume the RAM. Thus, you check on the possible culprit, then "hibernate" by using Greenify, it will stop the apps from running when you turn the screen off for some time. The difference is, you may still open the apps afterward, not like TI backup, which freeze the apps entirely. I found my RAM improved, but all the function remain. Just like facebook, when you try to open it, you need to wait the app to run again since it was shut off by Greenify.

Simply said, is like Greenify helps you to exit all the unused apps and prevent it to automatically run again. Hope the explanation helps...... yawn.gif

*Don't freeze sms, chatting program, and alarm.

Actually I think people just having fun talking about XZU. Its a great device. Even unker benny joke about XZU bug. XZU provide plenty of humor for us with funny bug. You see, most of the bug and feature of this phone is funny. Example is:-
a) no LED flash - I mean, as flagship no LED flash is dem funny man
b) fake hang & SOD - have to tick optimized backlight causing Triluminous Display become darker or yellowish
c) big until many of you say gonna buy another phone for outside usage

All this is not huge issue. But its kinda funny. That's why even unker benny joke about it. And I joke about it. Not really putting down this phone. At RM1999 now, I think its a good buy for big screen lover. I'm tempted too.

Z and z1 are flagship. Xzu isn't. Correct me if Im Wrong.

[*]Sony Xperia Z Ultra - My believe on Sony is gone, it is not stable to me, already 6 or 7 firmware out, I dunno what those firmware do, it fixed nothing, existing bugs is there and extra add-on more bugs. At least 6 bugs I encounter before I sell it. Sorry, it is too many bugs to me already and those bugs is annoyed me. Example the Chinese-English Keyboard, YouTube video and also the fake hang and SOD, it make me more caution on remembering tick the optimize backlight before shutdown and also need to assure battery never flat. I know some unit look same when tick or untick optimize backlight but mine is big different. Also the camera output is crazy crap, my friend ask me is your camera VGA quality! It is unusable in indoor. Even outdoor also not good. Old phone like S II can get better result than it.

*
i've seen a few device with much more problem than this, and the problems are not tolerable because it interfere with the common operation of the phone.. but the bugs on XZU is negligible because i don't mind leave the optimise backlight ticked, in fact i will not know about the buy if you did not pointed out. tongue.gif

the YouTube video i guess its Chrome browser problem.. recently i use Boat browser more, and i played Youtube video posted in this forum with no problem. can anyone double check?

about the camera, thats exaggerated, not that BAD. sweat.gif perhaps due to your total disappointment, so it has become your allergy. or simply your XZU camera have problem as well? shocking.gif

regarding firmware fix, this phone has been out say like 3 months? do you know what is the longest time taken for Samsung to fix their TW bugs in previous models? sweat.gif sweat.gif i remember FC(force-close) issues and some other issues has become our daily meal in some phone models before, the manufacturer simply can't solve the problem, until user forgot and move on to other phone. biggrin.gif

a) yeah, same as HTC One.. but i never take a picture with flash on phone as well, coz the picture will come out suxx
b) who said ticked optimised backlight causing display become darker or yellowish? shocking.gif how do you know you did not own the phone.. on my XZU, it doesn't change much, except the backlight become dimmer, i guess. which is better, because even at lowest brightnest, XZU still too bright.
c) not me. laugh.gif

a) ok
b) I read this thread bro
c) lol

Actually its just funny to be talking about. Not in a bad way. I really really like XZU too. Before buying Mega 6.3, I plan to wait for XZU. But seeing how cheap is Mega with LTE, I bought it before XZU. So.... actually I do have affinity for XZU. wub.gif

Before that I also though is Chrome issue, but is not lo. I already get back my Tablet Z, I don't have issue watch inside Chrome or download the YouTube via JetVD, it run perfectly fine in Tablet Z and XiaoMi MI-2s.

The optimize backlight is affected me, you seen I post before on and off comparison right, my unit is big different.

The camera really bad la, it is the worst phone camera I ever use in recent 2 years. The over compression and noise filtering is unacceptable, and auto mode in dark place is over noise, Sony push too high the ISO, it is over limit.

I didn't face FC issue in my Samsung device, only face crazy hang in S II, that phone I sell within a month use, same as this Z Ultra.
