if you cannot wait already..get a secondhand ipad first. I am sure a lot of people are already selling. Once ipad air launch here then you can upgrade. At least you lose less money when you sell the old ipad or maybe you even decide to keep. FYI, I am using ipad 2 and it still works totally fine.
