Do you want to get approval for the extension as well?

Not buy the plan la. Get a drafts person to draft your extension and get local council approval.
Benefit is when you want to resell your house, the extension will be deemed legal and can add value your house. Without that approval, the bank will not give additional value to the extension that you had made.

Further to that, extension without local authorities, the local council can ask you to remove it and make it back to normal.

Before that, is your house under individual title?
If under strata title township, they don't allow extension to be done as it will change the outlook of the properties.

Ok. But I think it would be better for me to go and look at the whole site first before quoting you a price, especially Klang. I don't want to under quote or over quote, or quote a damn cheap price where some constraints are not taken into consideration.

The reason is because we need to know your exact location so that we know how solid the ground is.

Klang properties are famous for house crack, kitchen sinking, due to the "soft" land as the location is nearer to sea.

If the land at the back is not compressed, fortified enough. After 5 years, I am afraid to see a kitchen sink which will cost more to repair that time, considering tearing down the whole extension, reworking the surface and base, rebuilding. Easily cost you extra 200%.

Just my piece of experience.

Of course some customer insist to do without approval, but that rm3 to 4k will do good value in future actually.

But we will have to look at the place.
Yes, we cover desa petaling as well.
