QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Nov 10 2013, 11:27 PM)
i dont really suggest your wife to get a touchscreen laptop. constant poking the screen across the desk is really tiring and may loosen the hinge, unless you are getting a convertible/hybrid laptop. frankly, touchscreen is just a marketing gimmick. anyway, i will suggest along 14 inch laptops as well, as there are more lightweight options on 14" with that pricing.

Dell
Vostro 3360, i5-3317U + Intel HD4000@RM2249[1.67kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), W7HB; colors: red/silver/bronze
Vostro 5470, i3-4010U + Intel HD4400@RM1899, 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), W8, 3-cell

Lenovo
S410p, i5-4200U + Intel HD4400M@RM1699[1.8kg], 4GB, 500GB, FreeDOS
ThinkPad Edge E431, i5-3230M + Intel HD4000@RM2589[2.15kg], 4GB, 1TB, W7P/W8P, anti-glare

prices are RRP and negotiable.

1. Preferred Brand : except acer, msi
2. Budget : cheapest possible based on spec (below)
3. Usage : common office task
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : at least i3, 4GB ram, win7, 13" or 14"

I got awarded a tender to supply 100units laptop. so I'm looking what model the cheapest based on spec I have mentioned above. Then only I can start looking for best price.
