hi everyone.

i have this dream to become travel photographer. i love travel (local destination due to my financial). i found out that lots of local place and heritage has not been discover yet and if there is, not been advertise broadly. i wanted to travel, share the pictures and write few detail about the place.

so how to get attentions from local magazine, what to do and how to submit portfolios to these magazine?

ur shot must be extraordinary

Yes agreed and you have to summit your work to them until they accept your work

Start from blog, sure will grow if put in effort to update and upload good contents.

f ur work is marvellous, u put at fb also, if they want, they will contact u

If you can shoot very well and you don't plan to give the pictures away for free I think they will be very happy to take your pics. But if you want to charge, that's totally a different story.

i know lots of photographer out there have done this blog thing. but how to get attention from magazine. thats the question. i've done submitting to some local magazine. yet still no answer. maybe some truly awesome picture will get attantion.

damano well, there's a forum member nickname TCM*** who upload cat photographs in lowyat (exactly in this section) has made into local newspaper recently. a good start hmm?

local newspaper what also feature wan la, they need content. not outstanding photos also can be featured, not the first time and the last one won't be any time soon.

you should try submitting to competition instead. I'm not referring to Pixoto thought.

try this http://maybankphotoawards.com There's the 'Culture and Heritage' category and 'Street photo' category that could suit your photos.

try to get ur name known for travel photo, maybe submit at local competition or quiz. This maybe your strating point.

After some publication of your photo on magazine or website, than you can try submit your work on travel magazine as they acknowledge you already
