QUOTE(subimpact @ Sep 30 2013, 01:54 AM) looking for malaysia guild raid progression, horde also can just sick and tired of my current guild, keep taking the top 10 members dps and leave the rest to rot lol There's nothing you can do if you are left out due to undergear / underperform in a raid progressing priority guild setup, the slot for progression raid is either 10m or 25m but in most cases a lot of guild stick to 10m unless you got many active and committed raider plus the proper composition and also a very good leader to form 25m setup. When the word "progress" being emphasized means they will choose only the best tank/healer/dpsers or sometimes make up different composition of classes to counter different bosses fight as their main objective is to quickly get bosses down in normal and progress to heroic. Some aim for highest ilvl gear some aim for achievement in realm/world ranking. In Actus Reus, even though our main objective is community building but when it come to serious content matter (raid/rbg) as much as we want we would prefer to enlist person with commitment, if good then would be best case scenario but if no good at least willing to be corrected and improve. Most of the members here started as casual player, but we do have some long timer whom were hardcore raider/pvper, and I can tell you the current scenario is some casual player starting to learn the real tricks of the actual raid/pvp environment and improving, which the ex hardcore raider/pvper is happy to see but that's not all the case as there are too people whom prefer to play this game in a more stress-free and casual way. From the point of view of our GM nobody would be able to satisfy the best of all worlds, but as much as possible we would prefer to get more people to explore the content and challenges with us, various activities have been laid out by both our raid and rbg officers and their crew which are scheduled way advanced and guildies can sign up in the in-game calendar. We even have a Facebook group where it's an alternate platform for guildies to communicate, share info, or even coffee talk as long as it's related to WOW matters and we find it been useful as officers would constantly post up useful guides/vids from youtube for others to learn. The good news is with the release of 5.4 Blizzard is making things easier for activities to be cater to variable peoples for i.e Flexi raid which we uses to gear up new lvl 90 guildies / those whom not able to participate in 10m Normal raid. Officers would constantly keep an eye on the members armoury to identify potential people to make into raid team. For RBG practise it was always been our priority to use this to help those with weekly 1800 cp cap from arena (1750 rating and below player) to make the full 2200 cap, and also its a platform to let those interested into pvp to get a taste of the real thing and to improve further. Rating push will come later in the game when most of us are gear ready and it's in RBG leader pipeline to start make the real deal. This post would be a follow-up for Thetearjerker's (Tokputih, RBG Leader of Actus Reus) comment in your thread, to let you understand more on our guild and how it works, and set your expectation right prior to join us. At the end of the day, we need moar horde, death to the alliance, lokthar'ogar!!! This post has been edited by Arwenz: Sep 30 2013, 04:43 PM |

At the end of the day, we need moar horde, death to the alliance, lokthar'ogar!!! never played ahorde, and im in in wow for the 4th month, i tried to commit on my current guild for runs, but they gave me the shaft for playing the most underdog class (rogue) so i tried to geared myself via oQueue raid and flexi to show them that im worthy, alas to no success they do not see me among the crowd of members, yet the guild is falling apart since they merely focus on 10 man raid and not as the whole guild. swapping people at their own convenience due to so called progression. i would love to give a horde a shot but i would love to hear from your end on how the quirks of Actus Reus works as a whole guild in proper management. where equal balance of players would not be isolated with each another. (since my current guild has been isolating members from progressing in raid thus making a few good committed players to quit WoW ) whats your b.tag man ... One thing for sure, although we do mention we need certain class/spec, but we never force anyone into something that they don't like.
At the end of the day the guild do not pay for your wow subscription, you have every single right to enjoy the game within the boundary of blizzard rules & regulations and personal ethics. My btag is ultraconman#6945, I would get on later at around 7pm, would you like to join us on timeless as I am trying to organize an oqueue raid for celestrial bosses. I would not be free after 9pm as we are doing our weekly SOO tonight. This post has been edited by Arwenz: Oct 2 2013, 05:14 PM |

the thing is, malaysian guilds
very strict ones "you must do this before this" "you can't do that" "if you're not good enough don't join la" "i loot first, then you" "you can't play that toon, it is not good for the guild" "why don't you listen???" everything we must follow their steps but they never accomplish anything so i left them and play by myself not all but majority that i've joined so far until i found this one group of people with this current people that i played with theyre laid back and not that strict like last ones i joined i think they also have the same thought of the game like me "it's a game, it has to be fun" This post has been edited by kpourjx: Oct 3 2013, 01:48 PM |

Like I said you can't satisfy best part of the all world (casual, pve progressing, pvp progressing).
There are also old player whom wants to progress and everyday asking officer why no do this why no do that. There are also new player whom totally have no idea on maximizing their class capabilities and resulting wipefest in both raid/rbg. Some willing to learn and improve some very keras kepala and stay on their own comfort ground. We always seek balance to satisfy both this group of people, that's why we set our expectation on community over progression, we have good people here ready to provide guide / lead rbg/raid and help fellow guildie to progress but it is solely up to the latter to decide what playstyle/role they want in this guild. Be it community but we do have slow progress (as compared to those top guilds) and I am sure those who joined us in activities enjoyed the process, community > progression, if you down boss/destroy enemy team you know very well the man/woman right beside you is a Malaysian too. This is something you don't find in other guilds. Of course there are people who feels that AR is not the right place for them and they decided to join hardcore guild for progression, people come people go, nobody is indispensable in AR. Fun> Community > Progression (This is our GM motto) This post has been edited by Arwenz: Oct 4 2013, 10:45 AM |
