My car is nissan almera.
i bridge the rear channel of focal solid 4 amp for woofer focal 25a1, and place at boot area.
Do i need to channel the bass by open hole of the boot area to the cabin area? i find that top part of the boot area is a piece of steel, with not bigger hole. see from the hole i find another piece of steel. Not willing to cut the steel. And rear legroom place is also cover by the carpet. Any recommendation to improve the sound of bass? WHat normally people do? ANd the woofer speaker should face rear or toward real passenger seat?

According to specs Focal 25A1 10" sub, it states:

0.706 c. ft = fast and tight bass
1.059 cu. ft = deep and articulate bass
0.883 cu. ft = dynamic bass

Which enclosure youre using?

woofer faced rear...

improvements list to go through:
1. add power
2. box contructions
3. line drivers

things to look into now:
1. you xover points
2. your sub-sonic points
3. you gain level

cutting never do it... unless you are very very hardcore...

nevertheless... normally it generates enough bass...

i not sure though. coz is zenn sifu build for me and pos laju to my place Sarawak last time.


I set to 63khz for HPF and SUB. Look like it is very technical to do the tuning. I will stick to it for a while, until i really find someone reliable to do for me. Kampung place really hard....

which kampung place in s'wak are you in?

No problem for asking. Sibu here mostly go for SPL.

allow ur sub to play up to 80hz-100hz, try that first
if u can, set ur mids to play above that

yeap... But there are some very low profile SQ kaki there...
