55-200 on an Olympus? Wow that's a pure telephoto lens already. It's actually quite sharp for the price you pay - my friend just bought one on Ebay, so I'm curious to test it out one of these days ...

how much you paid for it? i been looking for those Sigma 4/3 lens but cant seems to fine any shop selling it, a the pic u taken is quite sharp

sigma is damn cheap in the netherlands or belgium. hell, nikon and canon EF-S lenses are priced 150 euros higher than most high-end sigmas.
and 200mm isn't considered 'pure telephoto'. that's too damn short for real sport photographers. |

But 200mm gives you 400mme on an Olympus SLR - which is plenty long to handhold, esp. if the light gets a bit dim.

Somehow your shots lack of contrast, especially the highlight. I'm not sure it's my monitor or the brightness, but the contrast of your shots look abit dull...
Try adjusting the level in PhotoShop to get more balance in contrast?? Just my 5cent. |
