QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Sep 13 2013, 09:05 AM) well its to be expected that AOSP / CM / AOKP roms have worse off battery life as a trade off for a smoother experience i'm back to TW after a roughly 6 month hiatus after domination rom (wait, was it this ROM antt00?) that changed me into a CM believer. i am using my first custom rom ever, ARHD today woke up only, battery dah left 71% [i yelled] + so do i need backup EFS and TiBu the apps? and just stack w the stock kernel or <insert kernel> that you can recommend? OT:The physical details for the new Nexus phone have just about been confirmed in every detail thanks to some leaks at the FCC, but when it will launch and what features Android 4.4 – Kit Kat will bring to the table has not yet been determined. A new tip we’ve received – which we’re taking with a large grain of salt – is advising that the magic date we’re waiting for will be October 14th.
The features apparently to be delivered in Android 4.4 include : Firmware availability to older phones Fragmentation changes (screen resizing) Miracast updates New Gallery Visualisation New APIs regarding animations Change android default blue to other preset palette colours New notification widgets http://ausdroid.net/2013/09/13/rumour-andr...d-october-14th/ |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 17 2013, 12:12 PM) I flash the LTE rom on my non LTE XZU this morning. The phone settings n network shows is LTE model. Everything is working perfectly well but since my place no LTE I am unable to test yet the LTE functionality. Even if LTE can work, there will still be buyers for the LTE specific model. The masses know nuts about rom flashing so that means if we flashed LTE rom to non-LTE model and still can use the LTE freq. or just left it around.. send my broken english |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 21 2013, 06:21 PM) Thud? u means the apps like 'airdrop'? Of course I know how Dropbox works. I have that in my personal laptop but not company's laptop. Due to we are using some private server and connection, Dropbox cannot be used there. Tried before. Plus, I'm saying if I'm not in front of my laptop, so I need something handy that can be edited on phone and straight upload. I saw my friends did that on their iPhone, I cannot believe if Android doesn't have any similar apps. |
