Just want to ask, I found the step to flash DN3 as below:

QUOTE
1. Download and Install DN3 - .....+ watever instruction needs
2. Who already having MJ5 bootloader, can start using ROM without further action.
3A. Who are on older bootloader(No warranty Bit in download mode) and dont want to update bootloader Reboot device after flashing ROM, there will be No wifi
Download this Dr.Ketan's Wifi patch. and extract it.
Open Odin from PC, Press PDA tab and select downloaded wifi patch
Put device in download mode (Vol dwn + home +power)
Connect device and Flash
Reboot device, Now wifi should work.

3B. Who are on older bootloader and want to Flash New bootloader, skip 3A and Download this BL_MJ5_DN3 bootloader and extract
Open Odin from PC, Press PDA tab and select downloaded MJ5 Bootloader
Put device in download mode (Vol dwn + home +power)
Connect device and Flash
Reboot device
My question:
1. I still on older bootloader (DLK5), from the instruction I can directly flash DN3 without flashing ROM N7100XXUEMJ5 first, is that correct?
2. For step 3A, any reason to stay on older bootloader? What is the pro and cons to stay on older bootloader?

1. Yes but you need to flash the wifi fix. if not your wifi wont work.

2. if you decide to downgrade to 4.1.2 later. MJ5 & MK4 bootloader contain active knox bootloader thingy. MJ5 can still be downgrade to old boot loader by flashing full stock 4.1.2 firmware via ODIN. BUT MK4 bootloader cannot be downgrade.

Very simple answer for no2: The newer bootloaders are EVIL.

Longer answer: The older boot loaders are Knox free.

Lol, thanks for the answer. I take that is recommended to go route 3A. Gonna try it tonight.

honest personal opinion, ( no offences to any other rom fan .. )

dr ketan rom is much more smooth ( since rom free is more )
wake up from lock screen is much more repsonsive instant,..
performances wise is going great,..
so far till now not yet encounter any crashe yet, finger cross

my personal preferences :

1) dr ketan rom
2) phoenix rom
3) dn3 v3

yeah, dn3 v3 wake up lock screen delay quite bothering me. How about dr ketan battery performance? For me, dn3 battery performance quite good..
