Guys, how much do you think repairing N7100 camera cost? Accidentally splashed water to my mobile. Everything okay except the camera. I just wonder if the water or the heat from exposing my mobile to in-direct sunlight cause the camera damage.

Don't think anyone's ever replaced the camera module alone. You might have suffered some water damage to parts of the mainboard that interfaces with the camera.

Mainboard is around 600-700.

Ouch.... Your post really hurt me. cry.gif Sound like "better add few hundred and get a new mobile." doh.gif

Awww.

Since it's not covered by warranty, you could send it in to SC to check. They may have a spare camera module lying around for a lot less.
*
Will they know, if the mobile damaged by water? The mobile doesn't fall into water. just splashed on but quite bad since the battery goes wet too.

See if the water damage indicator has turned red. If it has they will know that water is involved.

It's a small rectangular piece of paper somewhere at the side of the battery compartment.

Don't recall if there's another water damage indicator on the inside.

*hood wink*
*
Is it the white purple sticker? No red sticker noted. Oh my. Hopefully able to claim warranty. Now need to download stock rom again. doh.gif

If you havent flash the Stock India Offical 4.3 and just play with the Custom from DN3/Pebonix/Dr.Ketan you can downgrade to stock official 4.2.2

if you did upgrade to official 4.3 with its lovable bootloader. then NO. absolutely NO.
*
I flashed DN3 and I flashed MJ5 bootloader. I flashed WanamLite MK4 V4.2 Android 4.3 previously too. I guess it's a no way for me to downgrade?

Reset before flashing.

I thought flash with odin will reset the number? But triangle away showing 1 for the counter.

QUOTE(edan1979 @ Nov 27 2013, 06:27 PM)
you need to reset the counter first before flash via odin.... or long way...

flash via odin... re root using cfautoroot... then use triangle away to clear counter then unroot.
*
I won't be rooting this device since I afraid Samsung will reject this phone. Well, I read on the 1st page that Samsung MY won't reject but is it totally safe? Who knows in 100 RMA, 2 rooted phone rejected?

Not very sure but for Note 3 , it's not possible . Eg if u r on build MJ7 , u cant downgrade to earlier MJ1 if the bootloader is different . The disadvantage of Odin flash , it flashes the bootloader as well as the firmware .

Just saw your previous post u were on 4.3 ...... I dont think it's possible to downgrade anymore . Even 4.3 to 4.3 with different bootloader is not possible in Note 3

Yeah, I guess so. Now my phone bricked. Need to find a way to install back Ditto N3 by Odin. And I have no Idea... cry.gif
