Anyone here? I was using Custom Rom (DME6) build for quiet sometime and I had backup my EFS... But it seems that I can restore my EFS now... I flashed the stock rom (MF2)... And only I realized this post about kernel prob... Can anyone guide me with this... Frustrated already...

Yup, From DLK5 to DMG1 modem.. OMEGA ROM. Everything works fine.... Then I flash to PROBAM... And lost my IMEI...
Previous time, From DLK5 to latest leak 4.3 Rom, wipe everything, flash it and IMEI corrupted also... |

Now I flashed back to Official Stock Rom(April).... (Becoz my IMEI backup is for older modem, DLK5...) And cant boot up....

Backup and everything is fine.... Now I able to get back my IMEI by flashing back Official Stock Rom.... older build... Heard that we can't flash DME6 build before upgrading our modem bla bla bla (which I'm kinda stress and don't make sense to me...)
So currently I'm at XXDMB4 build and with DLK5 modem... how should I upgrade my modem for newer ROM? Remember last time I flash ROM almost every day... Sometimes from OMEGA to ProBam, then to LiquiRom, CarbonRom, PacMan Rom, Paranoid etc etc... without having prob with IMEI... the time I flashed 4.3 leak... IMEI corrupted... Then I lost my IMEI and got no way to restore... sent back to Samsung service (Claim Warranty) and then I'm at this DLK5 modem... And everytime I flash the latest build... It corrupts my IMEI... Maybe I missed out something.... NO DIEA AT ALL..... |

Even when I flash to newer ROM with new modem, It still corrupt my IMEI.
It is about EFS v1 and EFS v2 thingy.... Got no idea how anymore... sigh... Any guide? |

Im pretty sure my EFS is based on older ROM, bcoz after I flashed DME6 Rom, my EMEI is corrupted and I can't restore my IMEI. And my Modem is DME4.
Only I flash older stock Rom with Odin, then I able to restore my IMEI... Btw, what is the different between Kernel changer and Modem changer? I saw the guide, he talks about flashing kernel changer... But usual custom Rom comes witrh custom kernel right? Does it related to modem? |

If I flash newer ROM, I lost my IMEI... unless I choose not to change modem... Lets say DroidTurk ROM, Sammy base, DME6 ROm... I choose not to install the modem... then I wont lost IMEI... If I choose the modem that the Rom provide... I lost my IMEI...
Only got it restored when I flash back to older stock rom.... |
