Normally not a common occurrence. It happened with a batch of Sandisk cards earlier this year though.

You could have been unlucky, but then again don't rely only on 1 copy in 1 location. Please backup your stuff elsewhere too.

When u r in recovery , did it ask u for recovery flash disable or fix root access and u click yes ? If that is the case , just reflash your firmware again without data wipe and click "no" whenever it ask u for anything . If it still fails , go to xda and dl SU Superuser1.65 zip and flash it in

DN3v2 show that most o the thing in note3 can work. at least give us half of it... lolz... officially...

I think most will tell you to get Titanium Backup Pro to backup everything and restore quickly in bulk.

to tell the truth... i didn't wipe. just install new one over... i dont even flash the bootloader.... it just work on my n2...

how about helium? the app is free and able to backup and restore in bulk.

yup. kind of working fine. haven't meet with any problem. yet. but last time i had already update to MJ5. but i had go back to MJ1 and using old bootloader. so dont know how the heck did the wifi can work outright.

helium is similar to TiB. but no root required. however, i understand paid version will give you more backup options. well, at least that was the case a few mths back when i tried it. din pay, so i think only option was backup to PC (or was it external memory).

Freeze them? Heck, I totally nuked most of my S-Apps, especially the ones that spawn unnecessary background processes and the ones that do things other apps simply do better (Samsung Apps... die). I do have backups though JIC,  but I haven't really had to restore anything and I'm still rock stable.

Why not freeze? Just a habit I developed during my S3 days, back when nuking a ROM to its bare bones was actually essential to keep it running well under heavy multitasking - the 1GB of RAM was a terrible bottleneck, a fully tabbed browser alone was enough to bring the S3 to it's knees if I run un-nuked. Sure freezing might also work but why waste storage on things you don't need?

16 tabs max remember. And half of that image heavy, running some sort of flash or JS.  Locks up or at least lags my S3 even with my nuclear strategy. The N2 just looks at me and asks "is that it? ".

If I had an N3, I know it'll just laugh at the tabs. That said, the stock browser on the N3 doesn't even have quick controls unmodded so 16 tabs will be a PITA to switch through.

Getting both and saving one? I poor fag lol, even the N2 was half-financed by the trade in of my S3.

how about backup your current apps? then you should be good to go. just dont change the volume using setting menu (will cause FC). use the volume rocker instead
