QUOTE(batman1172 @ Sep 19 2013, 09:53 AM) hey! this is my first post! Want to ask for opinion. I already have note2. It is a great phone. I'm just a casual user. No flashing or rooting. In fact, not much gaming. speed won't matter methinks. Should I change to note3 ? cheaper to change every 10 months or just use the note2 until samsung say no more update ? As what sacremento said, if you have the money, you can get the Note 3, otherwise Note 2 is perfectly fine. I'm still keeping my Note 2.

I use the note2 for email, chatting, fb, candy crush, news reading, browsing. that's it! I don't see anything in note3 that will make me say must buy unless they come with dual-sim.
Last time, when i change from note1 to note2, i saw battery life really good!!! can feel the change in the cpu also.

Last time 1080 is rare and price for Asus is crazy like hell for the Infinity Pad with FHD display . Even places like ALL It Hypermart dont even have a display unit . So how many actually seen it then ? Now , FHD is quite common , in fact , all latest release of flagship model is a MUST for FHD . Sure , 720p used also acceptable but if wanna compare that way , 2 years back , 720p also rare and those using non HD screen also didnt complain .

For 5.5" 720p non-Pentile vs 5.7" 1080p diamond Pentile, I want 1080p also

My problems is solves » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The music player would only access the mp3 files stored in the default storage location on the internal sdcard. My own music files were located in a folder on the external sdcard, and initially were inaccessible from the music player. I got round the problem as follows> 1. Cut and paste the external music files to the location on the internal sdcard where the music player currently sees the files. In my case I did this via a windows PC with the phone connected to the PC, but its probably not necessary - could just use the 'move' and 'paste here' functionality within the My Files app. 2. Verify that the music player can see/play all the newly added files on the internal sdcard. 3. This is the important bit. Use the My Files app to 'move' and 'paste' all those files just added to the internal sdcard back to the external sdcard to a location of your choice, the folder name is irrelevant. On opening the music player it should now see the files located both in the internal and external sdcard locations (at least this worked for me). I've processed all my music files in this way and my music player happily plays all my mp3 files which I exclusively keep on the external sdcard.

Hang on until Note3 hit the stores. Then see what the price for Note2 is. Also (like me...) want to see if it is worth to change to Note3. Price wise, everything will drop over time. By then, there will be also more used Note2 sets with valid warranty for sale.
