Imo, if u want to looks exclusive but no budget to go 5s, pick ip5
But if u want to have latest gadget pick 5c although 5 c follow 5 spec except for battery and free app
For casing, 5c casing not same with 5
And if u bought casing that not transparent and not from apple, it might hide the vibrant of 5c
I own both 5 and 5c
5c looks cheap but when u hold it, the material not like lumia phone, more solid
But for ip5, its feels more premium

What adapter are you referring to?

Basic packaging comes with:
1X Phone
1X Charger
1X Lightning Cable
1X Earpods
Not to mention the booklets and whatnot.

But in China, the packaging comes with an extra MicroUSB to Lightning converter. Period.

If you want last years design go for the 5. If you want something new go for the 5C.
If you prefer aluminum over hard plastic go for the 5.
