For the 1st month after release , yes it did . It was telco exclusive then , no one else have stock . So shops like Satu Gadget , DD and those outside need 2 purchase with their connection to telco for it , buying at RRP it seems instead of signing up a plan . So it's no suprise they r selling it above RRP .

wow Galaxy Gear pricing is confirmed - RM999 RRP.  Few months later if drop to RM700 or so, maybe can consider getting one for wife.

Rm999 seem overpriced a lot, RM399-Rm599 is reasonable 

If the Gear build quality is great, then it still price ok for me.
