well well, in the business world, time is money. wasting the 6 months for that probably 500-600 bucks cheaper phone ?
6 months later, the phone already depreciate there about the price

in the 6 months you still using the phone and enjoy your RM148 plan (6GB data, 600mins free call etc)

If you think the act of trying to save some money is funny, then I have no choice because I am indeed poor.

But anyway, I still haven't bought it using this way, because DIGI website keeps giving error when check-out.

I think Note 2 also same right, was it a casing or other things, couldn't remember...

yes, normally they will have roadshow but normally just a cheapo free case for Note-series, dun expect too much. Sometime the roadshow is held by telcos instead.

If not, you're wasting your own money. If you monthly bill only about 80-100, you're paying additionat 48-68.
in 6 months time, you're wasting about 288-408

having to sell your galaxy gear at eg RM 600, does it justify your 6 months effort ?
you probably earn nothing as you still have to pay for penalty

Yup you are absolutely right.
My monthly bill probably less than RM50 as I seldom make calls.

It is why I haven't press the PAY button yet.
still considering, while waiting for Digi facebook to confirm there is no penalty on the free galaxy gear.

In comparison,
buying a RRP phone @ RM2300, and 6 months bill (50x6 = RM300) = roughly RM2600
vs
buying Digi package @ RM1319 + 800 advance payment + 148 advance bill + 910 penalty - 800 resell gear = RM2377

the advantages here are roughly RM300 cheaper + 6 months of 600mins free call + extra data per month

not a HUGE advantage, but still some advantages

although i am also doubtful that DiGi will just give away the Gear just like that if one cancel the plan but it is not impossible if they secure a good bundled deal from Samsung. Yes, to us it costs RM999 but to Samsung, maybe it just cost RM200. In view of Samsung trying to push this new category of smart-wear, they may just sell the Gear to telcos at deep discount. Win-win-win situation for Samsung-telco-users.
