Latest seller price ori set is RM2088.
While AP set with the same price comes with LTE..

But XZU seems almost featureless compared to Note3

It will be more than a bootloader
Based on S4 LTE...it's a combination of a few things.
- kernel protection.
once altered..blue dot coming up (same like red exclaimation mark on S3) and difficult on using stock kernel again. If flash stock kernel..you lose all your wifi features. If flash full stock firmware..wifi okay but you lose your CSC

- bootloader
once altered..same blue dot and get a locked modem. No more modem changing. Try to flash other modem...you lose imei and whole data connection.

But I think devs can still do a workaround job. It only getting more and more difficult. Hope Chainfire can still be around working his magic on this lovely Note3.

Note2 retail at RRP2299 when first launched. And thats for 16GB non-LTE.
A little higher wouldn't be overpriced as Note3 come with 32Gb and also with LTE

Telcos.usually follow RRP while a few individual trusted seller might give a price lower than RRP to its regular buyer/customer.

Those who wish to get their hands on the phone quickly can still buy off contract at Telcos. Normally Celcom do this and a few Maxis branch do sell off contract also. DiGi never sell without contract.
Else..try contact individual seller such as alieamin or dennygeni for off contract buying. Might even get a cheaper price
