And should I start casting before boss fight, middle or when the caster has very little MP? I usually cast it when the healer or black mage has 1/3 MP left. I'm not sure if this is optimal or not but so far no one scolded me yet

It's a common tactic that many players would practice. I believe it's either skin or web u are farming.
Most of us would enjoy the comfort of camping a particular mat all by ourself without any disturbance.
Many times when u notice a player going almost 24/7 on a spot without boredom, it's either a gil farmer or bot.
Unfortunately, there are players who play with such passion that they are willing to go almost around the clock.
But at the same time, gil farmer or bot does the same thing. Just that they caters to different terms.

I've been farming at long hours myself too and notice the immaturity level of players that exist in masamune.
They would fret and get angry over players camping too often at a spot.
Oftenly they would steal a hit on a dying creature that have only 2 to 3% health.
Sometimes , they would gang up upon a player with friends and tried to force the player to leave the spot.

I think that SE/Yoshida has been very loose in addressing steal killing in FF14. Unlike ff11.
It happens to botting and gil farming too.
These are spreading across Eorzea world like a disease.
Player's abuse over the code of conduct was not even looked at.
Many would think that it's just a game.
Causing annoyance and be ignorant in game is nothing but a game.
We cant resolve our daily life's unfairness and unhappiness, we'll resort to express this in game to other players.
This is to show that we conquer in game but squirm in real life.

I really hope SE/Yoshida would be prudent and firm in the game's code of conduct.
This is a game for purely entertainment for matured players and not kids who seek to release tantrum .
Players who seek to release their anger in real life should just go and squeeze a rubber duck.

I also have the same question. Sometimes I wonder, is it the first one to tag or the one that did most damage. I know that the first one to tag is guaranteed exp but I'm not so sure about the item drop.

Oh I forgot to add promote yourself to highest level you can in your Grand Company to get Amdapor Keep (AK), clearing it allows you to promote yourself up 1 more rank to get Grand Company level 50 gears.

Relic weapon quest get from Vesper Bay, the quest giver is right outside of Waking Sand, Primal HM are Ifrit, Garuda and Titan Hard mode, part of your relic quests as well.

It just give u extra security. I personally find it has pro and con. First you need to register and go through all the typing and then install the app on your smart phone. When you try to log in to ur FF14 account before u play, it will prompt and ask u to fill up the column of one time code, then u on the one time token from ur smart phone app and it will show u the random generated password number which is required to key in before u log in.

Pros : -
strengthen ur account security

Cons : -
1. Take longer to log in ur game
2. Unable to log in the game due to wrong one time token password (sometimes happen). I personally experienced this before which is a bug. Right after that I removed it from the account.
3. If u lost ur h/p or ur phone spoilt, u gonna have trouble to go through again all the security unlock procedure until u get pass the one time token.
