Ok i'm confused. I already knew that at lvl30, you'll get a quest to unlock your chocobo as a fighting companion.

My doubt is I've seen players as low as lvl20+, having his chocobo fighting along side. I looked around the web, no results.

Anyone care to enlighten me? @.@

Are you sure those players doesn't have any class that is above level 30. In this game you can level multiple class, so maybe those players are already level 50 in their main class and just levelling some other class for their character.

I'm not sure if he has a sub class of lvl30 above.

But are you saying that i could first summon it as companion and change my class to the newb class... Hmm that sounds possible.

Yeah I did it before while levelling my PGL
Basically once you get the companion quest done, you can summon your Chocobo anytime using any class regardless of level

Yes, its possible, but the level of chocobo will depend on the class who summoned it. So, dont put high hope lvl 30 chocobo to fight with your lvl 10 2nd class

Muahaha, obviously i was thinking to have a lvl 50 chocobo assisting my lvl1 newb gg.
