QUOTE(Varia @ Sep 20 2013, 10:03 PM) guys, today i washed my Z with water and after 2-3 hours, mist appear and water drop appear in the camera ! and i also check the red sticker inside the flap (charger side) turn red ! it seems that water went in, im sure i have closed the flap before i wash. now the phone cannot on, it only vibrate when i press on the power. im thinking to bring it to service center next week. is it possible that the phone is under warranty Hi bro.... i had the same exact issue as you but not the water spot on camera though... but my device became unusable as water went in... sent for warranty and they fixed it without any charges. i sent via Curve.... but i suggest you go direct to berjaya there and get it fixed... much more faster.... and service is great.... and they changed my entire frame and i also told them i had screen issues as flickering and they changed a brand new screen for me.. just like that... so go ahead and send it over... as long as warranty is there... then you have nothing to worry about. mine... water leaked in via headphone jack and sim card slot... two ports which i never ever used.... usb port... nothing happen... the sticker didnt change color... so weird...

QUOTE(uzary @ Sep 24 2013, 01:06 PM) Bro,before u sent for warranty, did u ever root n flash any custom rom? If u did, did u unroot it before sending to them? Also regarding the flickering screen, does the problem still exist after they replace the new screen? Im thinking of sending mine as well, but myb when 2-3months left on the warranty then only i'll send it. Btw our warranty is 1 year only right? well no... i have no reason to root and use custom ROM cause i am extremely happy with this phone. the 2Gb RAM is awesome and i can use the phone the entire day without issues. unlike my htc one x, s3, s2 and etc. so i was completely on stock. as for the screen, no more flickering. its great. no issues. yes its one year only.

QUOTE(uzary @ Sep 25 2013, 12:11 PM) do u find the new replaced screen is better or just the same quality panel like before they replaced it? i kinda of hoping when i send my phone for warranty myb in december or january nex year, they will replaced it with a better screen panel anyway, when u face the flickering issue, does it happen when brightness level is set to the highest? or 60% and above, like my case, really obvious when set to the highest brightness, especially with white background screen, can see the screen kinda vibrating. demm annoying, well yes... when brightness was max then it flickers badly... very visible.. now no more....

QUOTE(lonelywolf90 @ Oct 3 2013, 06:54 PM) U updated via PCC, were there any data lost? Especially games.. I played my Real Racing 3 until very far, not willing to lose the save data Y_Y I hope not, XZ is still a great phone, there won't be a XZ1 without XZ.. I believe there will still be active XZ users here I just realised XZ has better front camera than the XZ1 nothing was lost.
