Ok guys, finally I bought the ZL. Was going to get the ZR but ZL was cheaper so I switched at last minute. Anyway, there is a notification for new system update available. Should I download the update? Izit better than 'stock' one? BTW the new firmware is 10.3.1.A.2.67

Thank you, thank you , just upgraded to the latest firmware but screen capture is now gone. Before the upgrade, screen capture is by pressing the power button for few seconds but now only things left is airplane mode and power off. Please help!

Thanks man, I tried that and it didnt work (by clicking both buttons). Actually you have to press both volume down + power button for few seconds

You might wanna install antivrus like AVG eventho you only download apps from Play Store. AVG will detect apps that have adware and give you notification whether you wanna uninstall it. There are few softwares that I downloaded from Play store that contain adware.

Is there a way to adjust sound volume for notification and phone ring separately? My previous galaxy w have this option.
I didn't play around much with previous firmware coz I already upgrade it to latest one. I like the latest firmware coz you can uninstall the bloatware

Guys, any idea how to install adobe flash player? Do I need to install different browser? which browser is recommended. Tq

I managed to get firefox installed via wifi. Download failed if I used data connection. XZL data connection is bad when compare it with my previous SGW

If that the case (poor coverage), why I didnt faced the same problem with my SGW? I sit at my desk. even when I'm at the Bkt bintang area, same problem happened. haiz really give me migrain

Who is using Celcom? Could you kindly share the APN setting. How many APN setting that it should have? I tried download the setting using sms 20999 but it didn't work. Tried solutions from google search also didnt work. Please help me....

The setting that I got from celcom have 4 APN


With this APN settings, I can surf the net but I still can't download from playstore or log in to google hang out.

Even among xperias there are many features that are very usefull but not all have it. For example in my son's xperia tipo, one can reset the phone without losing everthing. It simply reset the phone to default setting. All your apps & data are still intact.

Welcome to to da club. I was thinking to get the white color too (funny, the white color surface is matt finish but the black color have diamond pattern finish. My previous SE K810i have similar finish as the white one. After couple of months lying idle in the box, the surface turn sticky rubbery. Can't do anything to restore it except to change the casing.

That's why I chosed the black color.

This is my XZL battery usage

Standard mode (no stamina), wifi and data enabled. Estimated standby time 1 day 16 hours

screen wake time? you mean sleep time? I set it at 1 minute. The brightness I set it at about 15-20%.
Regarding the price, ip-mart is selling around rm1299. In gsmarena I think there is a confusion about the sensor. ZL doesnt have barometer but Z have it, am I correct?

That's what I meant hehe. I set it at 1 minute (sleep after 1 minute of inactivity)

Ooo I see but the screen percentage on this one is exactly the same as this one isn't it?

Nice..what about your screen brightness setting?

Will the screen proctector loosen if the phone dunked in water?

Turning on the stamina mode doesn't disable the notification light. not with my XZL though.
