QUOTE(ILoveXperia @ Sep 12 2013, 08:35 AM) QUOTE(light_up @ Sep 17 2013, 03:58 PM) thx, still learning how to use, as my previous phone is x10i, having a bit generation gap.. Not the best deal.. And extended warranty is just bullsh1t coz there are a lot of term and condition and its hardly to claim it.. Personally thinking warranty only useful within first few weeks u bought ur phone.RM 1599 with free screen protector, T-shirt, note book, 8gb sd card sa ask me to add RM 150 to extend 1 more year of warranty plus an in-car charger, still considering is it worth or not QUOTE(hsienhsien @ Sep 17 2013, 04:10 PM) Guys, how to check the warranty expiry date for ZL? something like key in serial number then will show warranty until when. No such e-warranty for sony mobile.. Keep the receipt well and that's all.. |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Sep 17 2013, 01:19 PM) in the XZU thread, they have been talking about flashing the 3G model with LTE ROM to enabled the LTE radio. Even u get LTE but ur data speed is slow as hell also useless.. Hsdpa+ can up to 10+ mbps easily ady.. I think this is enough for every usage ady even u watch, streaming HD movie.anyone did the same and tried for XZL? meaning flashing LTE ROM into your XZL to enable the LTE radio |

QUOTE(ckchan @ Sep 17 2013, 04:42 PM) Ok some data plan is limited at certain speed. Or maybe after over quota.. U are in 4G, but the speed is still slow.. Normal hsdpa+ phone can up to 42mbps.. But I'm just can get nearly 18mbps for the best, average 10mbps. LTE support till 100mbps.. But it does almost same speed with me.. It's mainly depend on carrier.. Especially in Malaysia Internet data speed is still under development.. |

QUOTE(CAC@MBO @ Sep 22 2013, 12:08 PM) yo bro, normal 3G video call only available on Samsung, other android phone dont have. i hope to get what SonyXperia promised in new 4.2.2 JB update, display(probably screen flickering/vibrating), and battery bug fix.. of course camera can reduce compression will be better la.. you can only do internet/wifi video call via apps like Tango, Skype ETC. ya, actually for now our phone is very stable and nice. preferable update brings new launchers, camera apps (lesser of heavy image compression). ya i prefer new xperia launcher too.. lagfree.. |

QUOTE(Lucidus @ Sep 23 2013, 03:52 PM) Any XPZ/ZL owner here planning to switch to Z1 soon? hmm.. xperia photo are too much over processed.. if normal fb sharing only, confirm its good to view.. but if u wan wash it out as photo then not so good lo..Because am thinking about doing that, IF (very big IF) I have the money. The pictures from my current XPZ is just not to my par (am so used to photo quality from my previous Canon S95). |

QUOTE(uzary @ Sep 24 2013, 11:03 AM) But somehow i prefer this post processibg image when taking pic if people, the skin looks smooth xperia phone camera is more consider about users consume efficiency.. its really overcompressed the picture to lower size and reduce the picture quality from sharpness.. but it's more easy for user to share the photo to social link like fb,twitter... its actually dpend on user.. those wish to wash photo into hardcopy might need some professional camera or other smartphone. Sony is more focusiing on connecting to social and entertainment, eay for our life. QUOTE(serez @ Sep 24 2013, 11:18 AM) a question guys. if we update to new firmware, will it erase all settings / information / apps on current firmware? is it like going to fresh format it or will it keep existing settings? will not erase the settings/app/data if u not choose to FFULL ERASE.. |
