guys and gals, any tips for camera setting shared by forumer previously? i recommend TS to put in first post if got.
i think it's good to share here. but FIRST, u must have a nice object and environment to capture a good photo.
Camera settings cant avoid with Meteringg, ISO, Exposure. but not least, white balance play part of role as well..
ISO- Higher, more noise, faster shutter speed. Lower ISO, less noise, slower shutter speed. (In dark environment, mostly try to increase ISO to avoid blur photo, in good lighting, even low ISO also can get very fast shutter speed if lens absorb enough light).
Exposure - To adjust the exposure of photo based on environment. Mostly our phone is set default lower exposure.. sometime increase exposure will play the trick - much closer to natural looks. (if capturing portrait photo, person face photo, but with backlight situation, increase exposure higher will play the trick and can capture the face)
Metering - Since sony phone cant detect the light and change the condition of photo like iPhone, so metering we need to know to use it. As in our phone, we got centered, average and spot. Landscape (daylight) photo - average. Centered for portrait or single object on photo. Spot is for sunrise, sunset, night scene. Spot quite tricky here.. Spot the center point to the lighting spot, then surrounding will become darker and capture cleaner photo at night..
Try all yourself.. Dont expect much from phone camera, unless like Z1 1/2.3 or Lumia 1020 with 1/1.8 big sensor, can allow much light into lens, better result.. If wanna to capture nice photo and share to ppl, recommend that u found somewhere with good background, good object to capture.. if simply capture nothing without good background, sure u will feel the photo weirdd and not nice..
