Last Friday, there is new opening of Courts Mammoth branch in Sabah nearby pavilion bundusan penampang. They had a list of items are applicable for price smackdown so i had purchased a mobile phone priced Rm 1999 with flexi credit since the staff only asked for copy of ic and salary slip. With assumption of all things are settled as i did ask everything neccesary from the staff...but all of the sudden i get calls from Courts flexi credit department and they asked tonnes of question which i felt uneasy and dissatisfied with.Since the goods not yet been delivered, can i cancel the contract signed? I also found out moments ago that lots of peoples had launced their complaints previously due to unproffesional dealing with their debt collector. Is it true?

If Courts, never ever take up their flexi credit facilities. With interests, the item will 3X more expensive than buying with cash. On top of that, many items may not be new.

It depend on how u play to their tactics..i have a friend working there so he kind a help us a lot laugh.gif

Example..we managed to get Toshiba 10kg washing machine brand new at RM699 (RP : RM1299) during a happy hour they did on Merdeka. They only release 5 units on that day..

I did a flexi credit with CM on my fridge which is 550L Samsung side by side door (its huggeee!) on a 5 year payment term at RM 70 monthly total up to RM 4200 but the fridge price is RM 3700 so CM kind of take RM 500 only.

Its acceptable since we're paying monthly this rate is cheap laugh.gif

So..watch out for CM special price list items carefully. Not advisable on the gadgets tho..hehe..

wow...reminds me of the day where as a courts customer, i have to explain to the so-called court's "samsung product sales representative" about samsung's e-warranty

....that was the last time i purchased items from them

...& that was about 2,3 years after samsung e-warranty has been introduced...

Honestly bit disappointed with the place
Kinda small compared to the one I've been before in Kuching
Not much things on sale IMO

As for dealing with the staff there.. I do noticed I do notice they bit lacking in Customer Relation

Previously in Year 2006 and before there was a Courts Mammoth near Giant Kolombong road but closed down. Only this year it reopens at the Pavilion Bundusan

I do hope it gets bigger and better in future

Wooly giant mammoths have been extinct for millennia
But this very-alive Courts Mammoth is really out to screw ya
Buy from them and hutang, pay interest thru your ass
Why not just save up money, then buy the goods with cash?

For my case, the missus bought a laptop from them. The staff offered to include insurance for the laptop. The staff told the missus about the protection plan and it includes things like stolen laptop, accidental damaged etc.

Little did we know that the insurance only will be covered while your laptop is at home. The staff didnt mention anything about it. And the very fine print in the insurance cover was not that clear and can be deceptive, according to our lawyer.

So be careful when dealing with courts, they will screw you if you werent being careful enough, like you decided to buy from them due to their cheap promotions. My advice, don't buy from them! Ever.

i dont think so. cause there's a lot outside didnt have issues and problems with courts.
from your point, im agreed by your words. make sure we read and undertand everything about terms and conditions before decides.
so if there a cases in next day, we can refer directly and settle nicely.

if u dont want to buy installmently, just go and buy cash. now courts offer 80% cash discount on their big brand sale.
courts also offer weekend cash deal which in more cheap the item's price compared to original price

also right now they offered new plan. flexihome. easier way to complete home appliance and furniture cause it sell by package. u can add tv with table in a plan.
just saw the promotion right now. saw this on paper. for this weekend start from today til Sunday. i guess many people will go at courts.cashback til 58k. drool.gif user posted image
