I know this is an old age question:

I have been doing alot of thinking and finally, take the time writing down the details as properly as possible.

As I usually travel car and bike in 80 - 100 km/j, will a 250cc bike will do on highway ?

As for the amount of using the highway ala PLUS, i am not sure, as Kota Bharu, even with the nearly complete flyover in the town center, has very few highways, only long old road.

And occasionally I travel to Kuala Terengganu using the beach route (I recommend that route instead of using via the pasir puteh - jerteh - KT route, it's very beautiful passing by the beaches) once or twice per month. And also just in case if I go gila babeng and wanna travel down KL using bike only.

I want to admit that my inner greed wants a higher cc bike, yes I find 800cc - 1000cc tempting cause I don't want to upgrade one cc to another high cc, I want one and stick to it till kingdom come. Yet looking at my area, again as mentioned, there's no highway and only few flyovers, and the jam during festive seasons or touchwood, someone's car breakdown and stall in middle of the road, larger bike will hard to cilok and stuck there with the rest of the cars.

So yeah, will a 250cc, be it naked or faring, will do ?

TL;DR :

- Tamak nak bike 800cc - 1000cc, tapi kalau masa jam stuck ngan kereta lain

- Kat kota bharu takde highways dan skit flyover. Paling jauh gi Terengganu lalu jalan pantai sekali atau 2 kali sebulan

- laju pun 80 - 100 km/j

- 250cc bike dah cukup untuk macam tuh ?

Dedulu aku pakai jenis kain biasa pun dah mandi peluh, ko nak waterproof lagi? Pppeerrggghh...

Aku pakai mesh je. Tu pun rasa panas lagi. Hujan kalau, berenti la pakai givi raincoat. Tak susah pun. Tak pakai raincoat pun kena berenti jugak, kemas pape yg patut. Glove pouch masuk box etc

Kalu baru, ikut harga market dah murah dalam 50-100. Kalau seken, kasi tolak rm100 lagi.

should be ok la 250cc for 100km/h cruising...

rule of thumb always go for highest CC

but wallet doesn't permit that.. hahahaha

bawak lorry. during prayer,. pergi angkut moto orang.

kalau riding distance antara ofis ngan rumah cuma 5 - 7 km

Dan kalau satu hari saya nak turun KL guna bike untuk lancong ke cam weekend ride 250cc pun okie kah ?
