Something like that? tongue.gif
Else we don't put as commit 150k but say repetitive depositors since there will be some who will place more FD's within a year.

Wah,,think big ah.. biggrin.gif
Yes, this can be done for several times per year also, provided if some members can gather
funds at the same timing..

If we are successful for the first time, then the second time of Group FD plans should be running smoothly and etc..

Ya lo...but we can always use bbgoat's method (#1975, edited...but gchowyh managed to capture the unedited secret method laugh.gif ).

Ah.. So many evidences have proved that Top Goat is our best man to deal with BR... icon_idea.gif

QUOTE(HJebat @ Mar 11 2014, 08:05 AM)
The only concern is how many members are willing to reveal their FD amount sweat.gif
*

This is true, Warrior.
I guess we can do like this, let's say if a member wants to put RM 80K, he/she can declare
RM 50K but not to reveal RM 80K to everybody (except the bank will know when he/she places
the FD).

Thanks Cherroy for the clarification/info.

Klibor is also a form of NID, right ? We have discussed about Klibor here several months ago. Cherroy has also gave some explanation on the Klibor.

I have the CIMB Klibor which gave 5.25% return.  smile.gif

What's the min saving for CIMB Klibor?

i asked the local BR , they are not very keen in offering higher rates. That also before  i mention this is from many different persons. 0.05% above board rate no problem.

Regarding the red statement, do you by any chance ask them the reason?

Guys, got one thing to ask about FD.

Is there any different for a FD placement whether it's in a bank branch or via online placement?

Will be the interest still the same?

Kindly advise, thanks in advance! notworthy.gif

Ha ha.. also to Top Goat, Top Flo and davinz18, very sorry for my disappearing for the past 2 days.

Because my PC was restarting and hanging quite badly for the past few days, I changed CMOS battery, tested RAM, VGA card, power supply, hard disks, the only things I did not test were the processor and motherboard, so I guess the problem should be from the motherboard. If I have time, I will get a new motherboard in this weekend.

MH370..? hmm.gif a mystery of the century...

Ha ha.. Top Cat...This proved that your 'invest' in productive tools theory is correct... biggrin.gif

Here is the 5.6% saving promo brochure from Bank Muamalat which you mentioned few days ago...

Saving account interest rate: 5.6% p.a. for 6 months (need to double confirm if it is for 6 months?)

say, RM100,000 deposit
SA -  40% = 40,000 - 5.6% for 6 months?
Yes, if deposit RM 100K, 40% is RM 40K which will put in saving account.
If I did not hear it wrongly, The Bank Muamalad staff said 5.6% in saving account for 6 months.

QUOTE(RO Player @ Mar 13 2014, 10:43 PM)
UT - 60% + 60,000 - 14% ROI? no SCharge? many hidden fees/condition.

Yes, UT is 60% of the total fund.
About the surcharge and other hidden fees/condition, I did not ask wor.. doh.gif

And Bnak Muamalat offers one special gift for customer who makes a total deposit for
RM 200K or more, please see below image:

Sorry la, bro, I did not ask for more details.
They said they are confident to get ROI 14% this time... who knows this is only sales talk? biggrin.gif
But they said they have dedicated professionals in the bank to help answering all questions..

Bro, go get a Dell 15" entry level Notebook/Laptop without graphic card, freaking cheap at only RM1399 with Window 8 (I hate Window 8, haha). If buy with credit card, can have 0% installment plan smile.gif From my experience, don't buy Dell notebook with graphic card (had 2, both had to be repaired during 1 year and one KO for good), freaking hot and can't last long. But I have 2 Dell notebooks without graphic card where both still working without any problems (more than 2 years). Having said that, my son's Alienware notebook now about 1 year still working fine.

Since I got back in mid Feb have not been updating my blog and then had to fly to Melbourne last minute in early March. Got 1 FD cert maturing in early March, lost few days interest sad.gif

Bro, I did drop by RHB before I flew off to Melbourne last week and was told by Teller no FD promo??? Did not go see my RM.

Anyway, I just called UOB, their latest promo is like ridiculous, now need 8% in CASA!!!

UOB Bank FD Promos - Ends April 2014.

3 Months - 3.35%
12 Months - 3.55%
13 Months - 3.65%

All 3 promos above need to deposit 8% into CASA earmarked 3 months!!!

I am seriously considering switching to Affin when my future FD matures. Rates can nego ( a little bit higher), talk to Service Manager or Branch Manager.

I do not like to use notebook la, Captain.
One of the reasons is that the 15" screen is too small for old man like me.

About the RHB FD promo, I suggest you to call some other RHB branches to find out.
Or maybe one possibility is that it ended because of meeting the quota.

About The Affin FD, Top Cat mentioned to put in Affin Islamic FD then can get monthly
interest (need to have special connection), and maybe can get a slightly higher FD rate
if the amount is RM 100K or more, and gifts will be given also..

Thanks for the UOB FD promo update..Captain.. thumbup.gif
