right, i'm currently trying to enlarge my core team in building my real real technically challenging product with huge untapped market, with demand.

i'll not disclose what i am about to do but i do get investors in funding this project and require real experienced network experts (in terms of internet protocol) and programmer that are good in JAVA, PHP and ASP.

Please take note that you would be carrying out R&D (research and development) on new stuff, nothing simple on this.

if you are interested, please call me directly, 0192679338, just call me wheimeng. we will have a tea session or something, no email / pm, i prefer doing this ASAP. again, only experienced and readily to take sky high challenges with mind in venturing own career candidates.

don't waste my time trying to ask what i'm about to do. before calling in, you are should be interested in what i'm doing even though you don't know.

ok, i think i need to clarify more.

this company isn't incorporated yet even, however, the idea has brought up to the investor and very interested in forming it.

it is definitely going, and you dont need to jump over until the investment fund has been secured.

you should at least give some more information. at least what industry is it in.

no one knows what the hell are you going to start..... how to respond?

its like me (a total stranger to you) asking you out for a drink, because i want to tell you something that you don't even know what it is, or if you're interested in or not. would you come?

well, apparently it should be in the ICT industry. with programmer and network engineers, should be a program that deals with networking, in large scale.

if you need to know more, call me, it's not a good idea to disclose publicly.

i'll help to bump up your topic, whei... icon_rolleyes.gif

to me, 90% i will come and check what's all about of this great opportunity.
the remaining 10% will be certain circumstances of unable to do so.

sometiems strangers talk can land you into a gold pot luck.
no harm trying.

in fact, i am been doing that for many years.

Investors willing or will pump in resources with the project proposal promising of
this and that, but company has not yet to form up...bla..bla..

anyhow, i know what's the outcome will be. been through alot of this.

Wheimeng,

I have no idea who you are and what you are capable of. So, take my observation as someone with a neutral point of view. In general, in USA, the venture capitalist decide to fund or not fund someone more on what the person is and what the person had done than anything else. So, if tommorrow, the creator of Ethernet decide to start something, the venture capitalist will line up to fund him without knowing anything what he will be doing. In fact, they will beg him to take their money.

So, in this case, who you are and what is your track record is more important to anyone thinking of joining you. What you are going to do is less important. If you have never succeeded in doing anything, why should anyone cares about what you will do next?? You have no reputation or creditability.

Another word, so far, you have marketted your venture in a wrong way. People want to join a winning team. They need to know you are winner first before even thinking about whatever you are planning to do.

Not a full resume / CV but at least something to convince people that they are joining a winning team.

And, WITFM (what in it for me??). Please noted that if someone is a network / programing expert, he/she is probably either have a well paying job or a well paying business. So far, he/she have not say out what will the person gain by talking to him / her. Will they be getting a share in the company or this is just a salaried position aka job?? If this is just a job what should they join you?? Bigger pay?? Bonus??

credibility is one thing, idea is another. i'm in the hosting business but definitely not so much of an expert in networking. i've got a partner whom i can rely on in terms of programming (JAVA). as mentioned before, this system would be catered for hosting business and i've the network over in US and frankly, few providers are keen in purchasing my idea if my system is out.

now, a winning team is what we called a balance, all around team where we have strong tech, sales and management team. being excel in any of that does not make you a winning team. i personally would say i'm strong in sales because i know hosting business well and tech is what i'm currently lack of.

so, let say you've developed this and that, you are brilliant but if you run out of great ideas especially when it's very hard to get new idea out in this new era with great market demand, sadly to say, VC would not invest in it, i wonder what were you based on for making that comment. you might have great tech but it is not deployable anytime soon or the market isn't ready to absorb it.

tech knowledge is an edge, eventually everything comes down to sales or i would say, they are mutually dependent.

so what i'm saying now, not arrogant but a fact, do you want to join a winning team or to build your own winning team? the latter is what we called employer and the former, 95% of the people out there, employee.
