Hi guys, it's me here from Germany.

I got the EU version on tuesday. My local shop broke the street date. I also have it updated to spec II. Lovin' it so far. Still completing the A class races.

If you guys have any questions then feel free to ask.

I'll try my best to answer. If need any further details I don't know, I'll check it out when I get home.

Apparently not. The cars and most features are there before update. But when I clicked on online or anything requiring online. I am prompted with the update.

I didn't have time to compare before updating it. Since the internet here is too fast (not that I'm complaining. smile.gif). Also might be because not many people had the game yet.

However, I noticed the title at the My page screen has spec II at the end after update.

To me, the US version is worth getting as everything will be in English.
Currently i'm at my 4th attempt updating the JPN Prologue to Spec II.  mad.gif Patience is a virtue. mad.gif Grrrr mad.gif  laugh.gif

If you can't wait and want English, get the PAL version.

But I think it's hard to find in Malaysia.

wah, that 1 expensive, got cheaper and good 1??

edit: what about Driving Force Ex and Driving Force Pro?

I'm using the driving force pro. Recommended. U need a heavy table to set it up though. Newer driving force GT has dials on the wheel for tuning while driving. However, You can use the driving force pro and map the controls to the buttons on the wheel as well.

I prefer the paddle shifter than the stick shifter. One reason is because my table is a bit light and I need both hands on the wheel for better control.

I can confirm that the EU version is also receiving the update. Downloading it now. I thought the update had something to do with me deleting my game data for older games to free up space earlier on ( I thought I accidentally deleted GT5P!)

Not the fastest, can't achieve the high speeds like the Ford GT LM Concept car by GT..
But accelerates like a.. F1.

Turn down your speakers when you have the F1 and racing it on a track. It's loud. I mean, very very loud.
Redline's @ 19.5k RPM.

Thanks. Will try harder to steer. But if you watch the replay quite "fake" la. The F1 is just.. how do you say.. you don't have to brake much compared to the other cars.. In the Daytona Speed ring, you can even turn the corners without braking at all, travelling at about 350+ km/h. And still in good control.
Ok.. The highest performance point you can get is 983 points, where as the lowest you can get is 904 points. Not 700 points aaron  tongue.gif . Or maybe did I miss out something ?

Lot's of stuff you can't adjust on the F1, like the weight, the horsepower, ride height etc.

Here is some pictures of the tuning menu :

The F1 can still steer in Daytona without braking because of downforce. The aerodynamics on an F1 car gives that characteristic. That's why F1 might not be the fastest but in terms of cornering ability it's second to none. The faster you go, the more downforce you generate (think reverse bernoulli's principle).

I think you missed out adding weights to the F1? Maybe then you might decrease the performance points further.
