I bought my PS3 a week ago and bought GT5:P jap version from SG.

don't feel like buying at first, but after i saw graphics in 1080HD. i changed my mind and straight buy the game.

anyway, back to the topic. i've not read much about this thread and i read there are few posts back that GT5:P Jap version can't play multiplayer with Asian version, is that true? so far you guys are getting the asian version or the Jap version?

btw, i found out the car tyre screeching sound is kinda annoying in game. and also the DS3 rumble function is very soft....hopefully they can release the patch to fix this.

hopefully there is no version resist for multiplayer....

ya got the game from sg last week. the MP is not out of box so hav to wait for the update patch (i heard it will be out on 25th of dec)

i also hope that the MP can be play together regardless of japan version or asian version.....i think just language different only...

juz buy only la...the main menu are in English...only sub menu is in jap but you can refer to the translated screenshots posted few pages back....


btw, i found the new GTR-35 is very difficult to control....always oversteer....

seriously wonder how the online play will work?

i've played the GTR-35 event race, there is penalty if you accidently bump someone's car and it will penalty you to stop for few secs. hopefully it will implement in the MP as well

since the bumping thing exist in GT5:P and definately some @sshole will bump someone's car in order to overtake...

tried few races online...ya random pick up races...so far didnt see any option to host a private server.

by the way, for me the line is ok....no lagging or jumping cars.....very nice!!

for me both games are supberb. FM2 is a real simulation where you really need to brake n accelerate properly and so to GT5. but for me i think GT5 is much more easier to adapt since it let u choose the simulation difficulty. for me, FM2 has the most realistic physics in game so far in racing genre. and i believe GT5 will do the same.

as for Multiplayer features, i voted for FM2, leaderboards,matchmaking, online tourney, car trading, download car ghost, custom race, upload pictures and etc. And i hope GT5 will obtain all this features in the full game.

if compare wif graphics, ofcourse GT5 winning mile away but bear in mind, FM2 is in DVD9 format so they have space constraint.

coz both games are real racing simulation game.

well, those are not sim race....those are HARDCORE sim race!!

i had this problem yesterday night and it happened when i was using wireless connection. But after i switch to wired connection, manage to download the damn patch within 10minutes....

why not?

both are racing game but they are different in every aspect. why ppl wanna compare PS3 and Xbox360 since they both are same in genre? you tell me...

lol, chill bro...ppl likes to compare so that they can choose the best out of it..hence comparison arise. i agree with you bro. Just play the game and enjoy it to the maximum... cheers!

anyway, i think the penalty system still needs more tweak. i've experience that if if you bump opponents car side by side you wont get any penalty at all....those baskets always did that when taking corner. They take the inward lane so he can do wallslide on your car n bump ur car out.....

or is that norm in racing? (i'm just a normal driver so didnt know the racing rules much)

i owned the jap version. so far so good and no lag at all...i think it is worth getting...but if they have features like host private game that will be great!!

and wish they can include replay function for online race in future....the current online play has no replay feature
