True, it is indeed stressful and we shall already be expecting some imperfections anyhow throughout the renovation. Any rectification works sure take more times and hassle, so we may need to close one eye if the defects doesn't affect the functionality and it is not too obviously seen.

If ones is 'malu' to voice out, then he/she has to endure the unpleasant quality for many years they live in there....

Anyway totally agree with you. Better remove the eyesore(s) now than to regret for the coming years
